- If you wanna know more about me here’s a video where I talk about my life in Norway, reinventing myself at 37 years old:

Welcome to my first reading video, not entirely a reading vlog, but my BookTube newbie tag video!
In my reading vlogs I will be reading a lot of interesting books, I will do book reviews and I will discuss all of my thoughts about them!
Why am I doing reading vlogs?
I found myself, lately , a little too addicted to social media which was making me sad and depressed, and I thought that it would be a healthier use of my time to return to one of my lost pleasures: reading! And you know what? It actually worked. Now I have replaced a large part of my screen time with reading and I am happier because of it! But since I read all of these interesting books, and I have no one to talk to about, I am joining the book readers community here on TH-cam because I wanna debate these books, review them and get to interact with so many book lovers!

Hi, Cristina! I'm looking forward to hearing about all bookish things you want to share with us over the upcoming year. From an newbie content creator to another oldie, welcome aboard. We're glad you're here!
Thank you , Nicholas!!! It’s just so cool to finally have a place to talk about all the books!
The best book I have ever read is called Assisted Living - Nikanor Teratologen. It is written entirely in 19th century northern Swedish dialect. Still, it managed to get translated by Kerri Pierce, using hillbilly southern Texas linguistics and vocabulary as a substitute (which technically originates from Cornwall.)
My favourite quote about reading comes from Gilles Deleuze: "Schizo-laughter or revolutionary joy, that is what emanates from great books, in place of the anguishes of our little narcissism or the terrors of our guilt."
Thank you, those are very interesting books!!
Welcome to the BookTube community! Gotta love the KING. Best of luck with your channel - I look forward to watching more of your videos. Happy Reading! 😎📚👍
Thank you very much! Already reading and filming the next vlog!
Commenting to help the channel to grow. Also, first of 62 views.
And I do always appreciate your comments, thank you!
Funny. I’m reading the shining, and in bed too. Helps me sleep.
Hihi, indeed funny bed time story 😄 Good book! Thanks for sharing!! Enjoy!
I used to read a lot, but not the last two years. Thank you for your video and it makes me realize how much I miss about reading. I will definitely pick it up again!
And my top 5: Harry Potter, The Miracles of the Namiya General Store, And then there were none, A brief history of humankind, A thousand splendid suns. 😊
Aww, I am so happy that it had this effect on you, thank you for the comment. It is always the most fulfilling pleasure to go back to reading after a long time of absence.
Thank you! Will investigate all!
Hi Cristina, last week I saw your new videos and am delighted! They are so entertaining - and also inspiring! Before this video, I had never heard of "BookTube".... I read very much, mostly for entertainment in English but after 1 year in Denmark I've started to read "easy reader" books in Danish (the topics could definitely be improved ;-) . Do you read Norwegian books also? To be honest, I'll probably prefer reading a book to watching booktube - but YOUR book videos I'm going to watch! Enjoy your next books - and don't work to hard on the special effects, I am interested in what you say!
Thank you, Barbara, for such a warm and encouraging comment! I am thinking also to start with “easy reader” books in Norwegian soon. The reason I got into watching booktube is because I wanted good book recommendations, and then I wanted to see other people’s opinion about these books I was reading since none of my friends are big readers. I am already reading interesting books and filming a video about them.
