- Seem like Nintendo is deciding to sue Pocketpair for infringement of patent right, and from what I do know, it is not good for both, even if palworld is going to defend themselves. But from what I see, it will not end well for Nintendo in the long run..

here is another thing. try looking up nintendo's donkey kong VS King Kong court case. they lost that one and had to settle for that case.
isn't it ironally that this kind of lawsuit was all seemingly done in bad faith?
@@Ame_Gakita considering the bad faith nintendo has done for years with things like youtubers getting struck just for reviewing the products and such, i see it as more of karma if they get counter sued for abusing patent policies. besides, if i was pocket pal, i'd want to sue them hard for it and not go for any settlements from nintendo since that would be their get out of jail free card. they already forfeited the right to use that card. especially when they did the same thing to another company to widdle them down for money to the point of not being able to function anymore.
@@777icekitsune I agree. Like I mentioned in the video, using balls like object to catch monster was supposed to be their stuffs back when it first released Pokémon red/green in Japan.
Doing the patent now, seems like it was trying to monopolize it for themselves and the date of filing was done intentionally.
But again, if it was so, they can be counter sued and have that patent removed, from what I know, but I could be wrong on that.
