It comes with the kayak. It’s a cam strap system that Drew came up with specifically for the Shoalie.

Hey Rudd any tips for making a “day box” when you don’t have the full boat?
A day box for me holds what I am going to use the most for that day, including baits, terminal, pliers, scissors, dye markers, etc.

Shoot for a craigslist Hobie 12 pedal. Holding those eddies near moving water is where theirs a bunch of fish he missed. I had a Jackson Coosa HD patriot and, it was okay for lake fishing and great for just floating river's and camping.
But when it comes to fishing where the fish are it's nearly impossible or just a ridiculous amount of work to hold a spot and work the area with fan cast's.

Also have you had your drag break on the revo sx reels ? I have had two and the drag go out ? How do I fix this so I don’t have to buy new reels ?

I need more confidence on a frog. Am I buying wrong brand or color? I’ve worked it fast, slow, everything in between.
This is the frog I use 99% of the time - bit.ly/31NQZjz - get a black, white, and freak color. Fish the same place you would fish a spook or popper in addition to places you can't put those two - ie under docks, under over hangs, up in lay downs, and any vegetation.
Like the 2 part video. Glad you were able to catch some fish. They tore the dam down to make it possible to paddle further in the river. Similar to the river trail with they are doing on beaver creek.

I feel that. I was the same way when the new DJI drone came out 😂 - it’s a dope kayak. There’s a lot of features packed in a small package.
How do you think this yak would handle a lake? Any first impressions you could give ? I have a crescent ck1, but am looking to possibly add a shoalie.
So here’s what I’ll say to that. Just like a pair of skate shoes will work hiking a hill but a pair of hiking boots would be better. The Shoalie is made for the current, rivers, and creeks.

I noticed you don't talk much about your electronics, not sure I've even seen you talk about them. I have my yak decked out with Lvs34 livescope, steadycast, and a 93sv garmin with gt56 upgrade plus trolling motor lol what setup do you run on your boat?
On my Xpress I’ve got two 9” Helix’s with 360 at the front. Then I have another 9” Helix I’ve still yet to mount on my Hobie.
That was a gorgeous spot, you get them to cooperate and that makes for a great day! 👊🏼
I really dig my Nucanoe unlimited, but if I could get another to add that shoalie would be the one!

Hey man great video. I work at a kayak rental place in Eastern NC on the New river, and we’ve been thinking about adding maybe 5-6 shoalies for fishermen. We have some Old Town Predator MXs which are amazing boats, but would the shoalies be a good addition?
Shoalie is one of the best laid out kayak specifically for fishing "out of the box" I've been in. I think as far as a true river/current boat for fisherman the Shoalie is the way to go. Let me know if you guys decide to add them.

Good scouting trip in the new Yak. And although similar hair lines as you without shaving it all off I used to joke...I'm not balding it's receding son with 2 cul-de-sacs on each side of my head. They're real safe neighborhoods up there. Lol. I've got a few years on you worth of reading rivers though. 51 and a half for those scoring at home
