Pretty expensive considering what you can buy with that amount of money today, but probably one of their top 5 cabinets imo for getting the several games. People would have crashed stores in 2010 to buy a cabinet like this with these games for $600.
It’s my favorite cab by far, only disappointed with no online in mvc2 but other than that having all of those games included in it is a dream. Buying those games separately on consoles is worth way more money than buying the arcade.
My Favorite is the reflection of you reading your notes around the 4:30 mark. Yesssss. Anyways, great video as always! I look for your reviews on 1up's often. Keep doing what you do!....especially the stuff like the 4:30 mark lol J/K
It's INSANE that MvC2 isn't on Switch yet. That's all I want. If the Switch gets: MvC2 and one decent arena shooter (such as: splitegate, goldeneye remake, Conduit 3, or those halo rumors come true) then the Switch is the best console I ever bought in my life
A little tip for you from a arcade player of all these games for Marvel vs. Capcom 2: Double tap forward until in-front of enemy sprite. Hold down while pressing hard punch, press forward up on joystick holding it while pressing light punch, light kick, light punch, light kick, light punch again and light kick then hard kick, hard punch, then hyper combo x3.

Regarding the slant of the control deck it’s at a steep angle rather than more horizontal, putting strain on the wrists. When the hands rest horizontal it’s more natural, less strain. When playing for a while it can really begin to be bothersome. Is there anything that can be done? I can’t find a solution. No after market deck or diy hack?
The original marvel Vs capcom 2 arcade machine not just that one all of them let you play the secret bosses I just found that out by going to this arcade who has all of them he showed me I now want to own those instead of the arcade 1 up even the Sega Saturn and PS1 let’s you play all the secret characters but the arcade 1 up just doesn’t let you you can play the some secret characters on the PS4 and Nintendo switch but not all kind of sucks
Who wants to pay scalpers on ebay $300-$1000 for a PS2 original Xbox Sega Dreamcast when you can buy the arcade 1 up that comes with the arcade rom I own all of the marvel Vs capcom 2 on every console but I bought them from retail stores now I bought the arcade 1 up a year ago I was surprised that the consoles wasn’t the arcade version I’m glad I don’t need to unlock all the characters
It’s not bad moving around. It’s two pieces with the riser and the main cabinet which makes it a lot of easier to move. I was able to carry it up two flights of steps and wasn’t too bad.
Have you had any of the issues that were going around about this cab? Over heating PCB? Screen freeze? Volume adjusting on it's own? I'm totally on the fence with getting this cab.
I haven’t experienced any of those issues with this cabinet. I think if you don’t have the cab on for really long extended periods of time , the PCB won’t overheat. I haven’t had any screen freeze or volume problems either. I think the volume adjusting issue is hit or miss with the cheap nobs they use cause I have that problem with my Golden Axe cabinet. I highly recommend the MVC2 cabinet. It’s in my top 3 along with the Yoga Flame/Hadoken Legacies and the Star Wars.
Did your volume automatically lower while playing? It happens to me on shinku hadoken and you can see the on screen adjuster go down randomly during play.
Mine should be delivered this week but I ordered a pacman legacy arcade 1up as my second cabinet and I absolutely love it. Can't stop playing Galaxian as this is the game I played with my friends at school dinner time at the fish& chip shop here in the UK, 10 pence a game ....lol. Those were the days back in 1980. Loved your review and can't wait for mine to arrive.

Great vid, Jason! Might be my favorite cab to date. The only issue with mine is the audio is terrible. There's a constant bed of noise/feedback at all times, and the audio pops and cracks very consistently. A1UP support has been great so far with helping me out. Hopefully, we'll figure out a fix.

I gotta say, as someone that is a big street fighter fan, but has all of them already through collections and releases on PS4 up to sf5, I think if I'm gonna invest in a cab including sf id get this instead. Right? Over the blue hadouken cab? You can't find the vs games anywhere
I like them both a lot, it’s hard to pick one over the other between the Shinku Hadoken & this MVC2. I recommend grabbing them both and set them up side by side.

Oh yeah!!! Thanks for posting the review for Mvc2. Looks very nice from the artwork to the light up marquee. The games run perfectly from what I can see so I can't wait to get mine hopefully this year as it's definitely a must have in my gaming collection both to own and to play the hell out of. I love watchin your reviews man so well done. I got 1 of these of my own and it definitly has some issues with audio game freezing at times and overheating and slowdown that alot of ppl are experiencing . Hopefully they drop a firmware update soon to fix some of the issues because if they can this thing will be a true masterpiece.

For 600 dollars it should not be overheating. Is the PCB underpowered and causing it to run too hard to keep up with MvC2? Audio issues, lag, poor quality buttons etc. No online yet for MvC2......
I use to look at Arcade1UP as a downgrade for game cabinets, until the day Arcade1UP won my heart when they gave us MvC2 while Disney took this arcade blockbuster off of consoles.

Hey man, I have three questions about the cabinet of this game. 1) Will this cabinet by chance have the X-Men Training Room stage for those who want to practice their skills in this game? 2) Will this Cabinet have available alternative stages of the same stages that were in the console versions of this game, such as Ruby Heart's ship but at night? 3) In this cabinet you can deactivate the time of 99, 60 and 30 seconds to literally not have a time to finish the fight and so that you can be there as long as you want, for hours so to speak?
Looks much better because for having MVC2, i appreciate with this Arcade1up cab. One and only must own for me. And these previous game (except The Punisher that weren't include on MVC2) because were also on Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom and X-Men vs. Street Fighter Arcade1up other than MVC2.

I love the cabinet but I really wish they had included Punisher so I could sell my Marvel Super Heroes cabinet. Other than that it is a great lineup of games.

Awesome video as always! The cabinet looks great! I have the MVC cabinet, but it was one of my least used (because of fighting games). But a great cabinet that I modded. If I pick up MVC2 I'll probably put the MVC mods into 2 then get rid of MVC, maybe.... Not sure, still on the fence. I still have to get TMNT, Golden Axe, Golden Tee, Blitz and the MVSX next month first....

My last Arcade1up machine was a Big Blue. They never fixed the audio issues despite doing a firmware update, and I said to myself that was the last straw. They don't seem to care about their product nor do they stand behind it. I'll be buying custom cabs from here on out. Possibly a Megacade!

But, here is the catch: if Capcom gives Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics the Capcom ID/QR code treatment just like they did with Street Fighter 6, and if Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will not keep track of your online win and loss records like the Arcade1up versions of Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2 does, then I will not buy Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Colection: Arcade Classics in the future! I would love to agree with you it’s worth $600 but it’s not arcade 1 up needs to do more then give us cheap buttons and give us Super Nintendo games that we might never play ever I got gem wars on my marvel vs capcom arcade 1 up I played it once it sucks I rather see the punisher added instead of Super Nintendo games capcom is the only publisher that’s giving Super Nintendo games they don’t make sense I don’t see a Pac-Man arcade 1 up giving Super Nintendo games

The audio is good. It’s way better than some of A1UP’s previous machines like Simpsons, Ridge Racer etc where those ones had audio issues.

Hi! Bit of a strange question, how heavy/sturdy is it? Considering picking this up for Christmas but curious how easy it would be to move if needed.

The sound goes down once I enter MvsC2. It also seems like the game moves too fast compared to the other ones. I tried normal speed.

Yes it did randomly go down there. It’s happened a couple times on this cab while playing MVC2. I have also had this happen on the Golden Axe cabinet.
what about clipping and audio issues? overheating?
I haven’t had any issues like that on mine but I’ve heard others have. Mine does have an audio issue on the main menu screen but it’s not a big deal.

good review. around the 6 min mark i cant recall anytime the cpu controlled opponent just stood still and taunted

Looks much better because for having MVC2, i appreciate with this Arcade1up cab. One and only must own for me. And these previous game (except The Punisher that weren't include on MVC2) because were also on Marvel Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom and X-Men vs. Street Fighter Arcade1up other than MVC2.
Some great games on this cabinet. Definitely a good one to get if you’re on the fence with Arcade1up.

Man i got mine yesterday from best buy also and i love this cab the display is beautiful and the arcade is nice. I wish they used the big blue cabnet instead
Yeah I think the Big Blue cabinet design would have suited these Capcom games better. But I do love the look of this cab as it is 👍

Hey CornerCade! I passed on KI at that crazy low price. I don’t have a lot of history with that KI series. I did pickup up a couple new cabs though. I made some big changes to the game room and will definitely have a tour video coming soon👍

I love the cabinet but I really wish they had included Punisher so I could sell my Marvel Super Heroes cabinet. Other than that it is a great lineup of games.

Awesome video as always! The cabinet looks great! I have the MVC cabinet, but it was one of my least used (because of fighting games). But a great cabinet that I modded. If I pick up MVC2 I'll probably put the MVC mods into 2 then get rid of MVC, maybe.... Not sure, still on the fence. I still have to get TMNT, Golden Axe, Golden Tee, Blitz and the MVSX next month first....

I love the sound of a bunch of arcade cabinets on at the same time so much. ❤❤❤ I love my cabinet but have seen a few people with odd issues with theirs I don’t have. Hopefully mine holds out, I’d be pissed from what I’ve seen.
I noticed a couple minor issues with mine but nothing major. Overall I’m happy with the cabinet 👍

Well, you probably sold me on this one. I've been MvC one on a multicade but those present their own problems.
It’s a great machine. One of my favorites in the collection.
Ordered mine yesterday!! The first MVC 1up does look way better tho with all the characters and the one side with Marvel/other side with Capcom 😢.. I see you have both tho haha

That’s a good question. I feel like a good price for this and all these new release A1UP machines is $499
My last Arcade1up machine was a Big Blue. They never fixed the audio issues despite doing a firmware update, and I said to myself that was the last straw.
They don't seem to care about their product nor do they stand behind it.
I'll be buying custom cabs from here on out. Possibly a Megacade!

But, here is the catch: if Capcom gives Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics the Capcom ID/QR code treatment just like they did with Street Fighter 6, and if Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will not keep track of your online win and loss records like the Arcade1up versions of Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2 does, then I will not buy Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Colection: Arcade Classics in the future! Capcom shot themselves in the foot back when they created Capcom ID and they shoved Capcom ID and QR codes down us Capcom fans' throats!

I would love to agree with you it’s worth $600 but it’s not arcade 1 up needs to do more then give us cheap buttons and give us Super Nintendo games that we might never play ever I got gem wars on my marvel vs capcom arcade 1 up I played it once it sucks I rather see the punisher added instead of Super Nintendo games capcom is the only publisher that’s giving Super Nintendo games they don’t make sense I don’t see a Pac-Man arcade 1 up giving Super Nintendo games

That’s crazy expensive. It’s pretty much double what the price should be.
