Just one minor feedback point: The belt you are wearing needs to be shortened, or an extra clip used to contain excess part that's visible towards the side of your waistband. Having that stick-out (as it does in 2:50 and 6:23 draws too much attention from the otherwise polished look). Hope you don't mind this being pointed out :). Keep up the great work!

Knowing that this is really a quality product makes it easier to pull the trigger, but I might just wait a little longer until that video about alternative perfumes comes out...
My mom once bought me the aventus and i like it so much. I kept bought it again and again 'cause no other perfume that could re create that classy creed fragrance.

Dear Gentleman’s Gazette, I am aware that this video is over 2 years old at this point and so I don’t expect a response but for anyone who comes across this video, perhaps there are some things about the house of Creed that people should be aware of I think. I’d advice anyone to read the book called ‘The Ghost Perfumer’ by Gabe Oppenheim. The book goes in depth on the, very much made-up, and borderline ridiculous claims the house of Creed makes about their history, bringing their authenticity and integrity very much into question. Furthermore, on the ethical side, many of Creed’s most famous perfumes (Green Irish Tweed, Original Santal, Silver Mountain Water and many more) were made by the perfumer Pierre Bourdon early on in his career. Yea it’s definitely worth it. I get so many compliments when I wear Anventus and the Green Irish Tweed. I have a couple of bottles and I have all 3 that he’s reviewing. Love each and every bottle because they are truly distinct and smell just as lovely.
Creed is available on amazon UK, although it's an odd distribution chanel for a brand that sets its sights on such a high price point, marketed on exclusivity. For example Aventus 100ml eau de parfum is £264. If I had that budget available I could alternatively opt for a pair of Grenson Derby handmade shoes for £265! For me that's no contest. Can't see the price to value argument in favour of such an expensive fragrance.
It’s all subjective . You may prefer to spend £260 on a pair of shoes , someone else might spend that money on a jacket or a “fragrance” . There is no right or wrong .
I wear Aqua Terra by Omega. Discovered it when I was getting my problematic Planet Ocean serviced at the boutique on 5th Ave. $150. And I’ve never received a compliment. Bwahahaha! Glad I’m already married.
I've got Creed Green Irish Tweed and Creed Aventus. I love to wear Aventus, however Green Irish Tweed smells like wet dog on me (er, wet wool?). I also love to wear Creed Royal Mayfair. I don't have Creed Royal Oud, although I do have and like Tom Ford Oud Wood.
I think they are way overpriced. I like Aventus and Viking, not that crazy about Green Irish Tweed. If I'm going to spend over $100 for cologne though it's going to be Parfum de Marly.
As with many things, such as clothing, etc. if you truly truly love it, then it is worth it. On a side, note, try to use a shorter belt. The one you are wearing is way too long for your waist.
Thanks for anothergreatvideo. I'm really intrigued, I only wish that I lived in the vicinity of the high-end department stores that carry Creed. As you said, scent is highly personal and subjective, and I just couldn't lay down that kind of money without getting to smell it first to see if it works for me personally.
Thank you for the video. I was hoping that you were going to explain the cost of fragrances with the cost of the actual ingredients, and the process and the amount of alcohol, Etc.
Honestly, Green Irish Tweed smells too much like Davidoff's Cool Water for it to justify the price. Also, just as a warning: The Creed samples that are sold on eBay are really weak... only last a few hours. I've tried 10 different $10 samples from three different sellers, and none of them had 10 hours of sillage.
It's tricky, because there are a lot of Creed clones on the market, they most likely sell an Armaf or Perfume Parlour clone inside of those sample vials
I’m into menswear and accessories; and I went to school for chemical engineering. Hire me. I’ll do your science breakdowns. Lol it would be so fun. And I’d have another reason to dress up.
I love Aventus, and Creed is a house that I hold in high regard. I think most scents are worth the price tag; and even if you don't care for certain ones (I think Viking is straight TRASH!), they're still far superior than spending $40-60 on what's essentially scented rubbing alcohol. On that note, fragrances by Clive Christian and By Kilian are also great alternatives if you want a luxury scent that's not Creed.
At retail it's def NOT worth it. At least here in Europe you can find Creed discounted and a 50ml can be had for around 150 euros. At that price Royal Oud and Royal Mayfair would be worth it for me.
A bit of economics, the market will tell you how well you’re doing and if the consumers are buying at your asking price, then your product is worth the money.
Whenever I get worked up during the day, I put on Gentleman's Gazette and calm down. It's especially easy with Kyle's dulcet tones.

Is that an Anson belt Kyle? Looks awesome!
No, we do certainly not wear Anson belts...
@@gentlemansgazette it does look a little long, though. Just saying.
I wondered about the lenght too
Nice and funny video, btw you guys are reaching 1million subs, keep up the good work :-)
I recommend reviewing MFK. I only recieve 3 small samples from parfum shop, but i already start to like it.
Yes MFK are very good .
Great job Kyle!
Out in public, to most noses, the best clones are just as good or better than the latest batches
I happen too own all the Creeds you mentioned plus a few more.
I never pay more than $178 for a 100ml bottle (although Aventus goes for around $250).
The *Pinaud series of cologne & aftershave also rocks, & much more affordable , yet not market saturated.
Yes, and you’ll find it at your local barber shop.
I prefer Old Spice.
Great video
I you search a bit, you can order samples for small money. Look to etsy or ebay especially. I bought three 3ml samples for about 20€ recently.
Dude, this video is meme gold!
Thank you for the video. I was hoping that you were going to explain the cost of fragrances with the cost of the actual ingredients, and the process and the amount of alcohol, Etc.
Me too. This was not a very good video.
Creed fragrances are totally worth it and if you know where to look you can get them for a bit cheaper (make sure it's legit).
Ever heard of Armaf? Biggest proof Creed is not worth it.
Where would they be cheaper?
Honestly, Green Irish Tweed smells too much like Davidoff's Cool Water for it to justify the price.
Also, just as a warning: The Creed samples that are sold on eBay are really weak... only last a few hours. I've tried 10 different $10 samples from three different sellers, and none of them had 10 hours of sillage.
I have heard that those ebay sample sellers are scams and they are actually using imitations.
It's tricky, because there are a lot of Creed clones on the market, they most likely sell an Armaf or Perfume Parlour clone inside of those sample vials
GIT smells EXACTLY as DCW on me.
There is nothing that would justifie the Creed GIT price tag for me.
I prefer Amouage over Creed.
Amouage is much much much much much much much much much much better. And to think they are similarly priced is absolutely crazy to me.
YES. worth it.
I have a 7 month old son and I spray him with Creed everyday and his skin always becomes extremely red. Not good.
What? Why would you spray your 7 month old with cologne?
Is your last name french in origin?
I love creed I am go to buy one
I’m into menswear and accessories; and I went to school for chemical engineering. Hire me. I’ll do your science breakdowns. Lol it would be so fun. And I’d have another reason to dress up.
Yes
I love Aventus, and Creed is a house that I hold in high regard. I think most scents are worth the price tag; and even if you don't care for certain ones (I think Viking is straight TRASH!), they're still far superior than spending $40-60 on what's essentially scented rubbing alcohol. On that note, fragrances by Clive Christian and By Kilian are also great alternatives if you want a luxury scent that's not Creed.
another one is royal crown
Thanks for the history lesson .
I’m not a big Creed fan personally but their scents are nice
That was great thanks.
Klarna has made it very affordable.
At retail it's def NOT worth it. At least here in Europe you can find Creed discounted and a 50ml can be had for around 150 euros. At that price Royal Oud and Royal Mayfair would be worth it for me.
GIT for life 🙏
...thank you Kyle for the infos on Creed....I didn't know about the phoney tradition of the present day company
Creed is amazing
The price certainly is...
What are you comparing Creed to? that makes you think its amazing?
@@iansoutryer3189 Agree :))
A bit of economics, the market will tell you how well you’re doing and if the consumers are buying at your asking price, then your product is worth the money.
They used to. Before they got diluted
I purchased a copy of Creed "Aventus" perfume. It is excellent, lasts a very long time, many compliments. Price? 16 euros, 50 mils.
