    Interesting, I had no idea that retinoids can damage skin in the long term. I always thought that once your skin has acclimatised to them, it's beneficial to use them often and indefinitely as they stimulate cell renewal and collagen growth. I guess it's a bit like fruit and some vegetables being good for you because of all the vitamins, but also bad for you because of the sugar content!

      Absolutely - its mostly about not over-exfoliating and wearing down your skin's natural barrier

    what did i use in the am? and night? while doing skin fasting

    I’ve damaged my skin barrier and I’m not noticing much of a difference using gentle products, for the last few days I’ve just been using water at night times to wash my face, should this work to let my skin heal? 😭
