This is a great story with a very happy ending. Tasha’s life is ruined for her rampant incompetence, the 3 veterans have moved on to better prospects, OP has a loving wife and a great job. All is well...
Except for one major detail that kept bothering me: the fate of the sexist Girl. Sure, she has been moved to another site, but for getting some good men fired and going as far as to threaten a lawsuit to get hired all the while playing the sexism card, having to be moved to another site is comparatively merciful. She should’ve been fired at best for being disrespectful and arrested at worst for false charges. It felt like she got off light here.
    Still, great story!

Good Lord, the instant I heard that woman started power tripping before she even had the promotion, I knew that was going to be a problem. Labyrinth9000 No, going on a fucking ego trip is what ruins people when they get in power, men and women alike. I enjoyed this video quite a bit. No pro revenge, just Karma catching up with people who wronged others. And a terrible case of micro managing. Not just micro managing but dishonest mico managing (with an ulterior motive that was bad).
Two things I would like to know: what happened to the oil company construction site after it was screwed up by the dishonest micro managing Tasha.
    And...
What happened to the old security company that made the mistake of letting Tasha and her doofus coworkers ruin their largest contract? That company deserve to go bankrupt for allowing Tasha to remain employed for so long. Sounds like no one higher up was paying attention. High attrition rates are a sign of very bad management. Why didn't anyone notice? Why didn't the oil company notice?

That Tasha sounds a lot like a manager I worked under. She wrote up an employee for swearing on the clients property. This employee was leaving at the end of the day and was off the clock. The assistant manager was walking with her out to the parking lot as well and the manager called the assistant manager on her phone. During the conversation the employee said a curse word and was overheard by the manager. No one was around, she was in a near empty parking lot but because the employee was on clients property she got written up. This manager eventually fired half of the staff over small things and most of the other half quit. She ended up having to use a temp service for manpower while trying to hire permanent employees but even the new hires quit. Eventually she lost the
contract for our company with the client. A contract our company had for over 17 years.

Having worked in security for 7 years, I can verify that people like Tasha (and the cadre of worthless guards who follow in their wake) are everywhere. They move from site to site, ruining what was once a finely running operation, driving away anyone with a modicum of self worth, replacing them with their shitty coworkers from the last site. Eventually the client gets fed up and finds a new company, and the Tashas move on to the next site they can ruin.
And to be fair, it has nothing to do with being a woman. I've known plenty of male supervisors who were as bad as Tasha if not worse. It's just shitty work ethic combined with a staggering level of sanctimonious ego.

This story was about two dishonest women working at a security company.
I am a woman. I was never a manager (I never ever wanted to manage anyone). But I ran into both good and lousy managers in my job. There were fewer female managers because there were much fewer females doing the work I did.
I did notice that my company often made poor choices when choosing to promote a woman to manager. There were very few good female managers in the company. The vast majority of female managers at the company were terrible at it.
In fact these women had not been competent or well liked by other non management employees *before* being promoted. As coworkers, they were uncooperative, often due to being technically weak, but they had a manager who did not know the woman was technically weak and disliked by coworkers.
(There were technically strong female workers but most stayed out of management, explicitly by choice, because not everyone, male or female, wants to be a manager.)
In one case, the woman promoted was technically skilled but not very congenial with coworkers due to very abrasive social skills (the kind of person who insults other employees). No one likes working with or for an insulting person, no matter whether male or female. Why would you promote someone like that to management???
The best managers had both superior technical knowledge and superior social skills. One without the other does not make a good manager.

This is an example of get woke go broke. They went with a gender hire instead of the most qualified candidate. The company should have started an inquiry after the 4th long term employee just quit

In studies done on hiring, it was found that when meritocracy was the only qualifier, the names, race and sex of the applicant was hidden, White men were the ones who were chosen. As soon as names were added back in, White men were tossed in the garbage bin, and unqualified non-Whites and women were chosen.
Studies done on the work ethic of employees have found that a White man will come early, stay late, do overtime and help with tasks around the workplace. A woman will come late, leave early, refuse overtime and to help with tasks around the workplace. She will also take more sick days.
Females aren't worth the salary they're paid, in any profession, as the same is true of women everywhere.
Females aren't meant to be leaders. When a woman is a manager, she needs three other people to do the same amount of work as ONE man. Men are such great leaders that ONE man can do the job of FOUR females.
From personal experience I can say that the worst places I've worked, all had female managers, and in many a case, despite being a part-time employee with NO official training, I had to do the orders to suppliers, write schedules, do employee training, cash drops, etc etc. All part of the female managers' job description, but they didn't care to do the job they were paid for. And don't get me started on how lazy the rest of the females were. If we had fifteen tasks during a shift, they would do five, nag me to do seven of them, and just don't bother with the last three. Every last one of them. This has happened at every workplace I've been employed. And yet, the lazy dogs are paid the same as me.
Females are entitled little brats in adult bodies who can't handle responsibility.

“Do not be misled; God is not one to be mocked, for whatever a man (or a woman) is sowing, this (they) will reap.”
    -Galatians 6:7
I have no sympathy for people like that who “sleep their way” to the top, and ruin the lives of those under them, and think that there’ll be no consequences. Seems like Tasha’s life unraveled at the same rate that the ex vets were plotting their eventual revenge almost simultaneously.
It appears that the pendulum swung faster for Tasha while it swung slow for ex vet guards, then the roles got reversed.
One sowed power and corruption, and reaped it big time, whereas the others sowed with just wanting to do their jobs, and reaped positions way better than Tasha’s!

So she cried about her life is in shambles but she doesn't remember how she made over a dozen employees quit and probably having a hard time getting a job? Yeah karma a bitch eh. Also that company deserves to get part of the karma just because they fired the hr as well.

Damn what a dumpster fire of a tale.
I would have been quite annoyed if the story had ended with Victor's malicious compliance. Not much of a comeuppance if you ask me. But Tasha's downfall made it worth it! I wouldn't wish homelessness on anyone, but she brought herself down. Tough shit, play the world's smallest violin. Actually if I were Ray, I would have asked Tasha this: "You fired a lot of good men. Tell me, did any of them cry and plead for their jobs like you are? Pathetic. GTFO."
