Tori has her own book, Solitaire (not a graphic novel, a real novel). It was actually the first book Alice wrote, where Nick and Charlie are minor characters, and occurs after Heartstopper.
Charlie did meet Nick’s mother. We didn’t see it on screen but she said “Charlie seems like a nice boy, you seem much more yourself around him”.
Nick’s kitchen has white cabinets, Charlie’s has orange. You saw those when you first met Tori with Charlie eating soggy corn flakes.
The way the first season ended was Nick telling his mom that he was bisexual. It was after Nick took Charlie to the beach and said he wanted to come out. When he got home, he came out to his mother.
Imogen’s reaction when Nick said he was bisexual was shock because that meant she could have had a chance but he just didn’t like her that way. She completely knew what bisexuality was, and believed in it. She had come to terms with him, not liking her because he was gay. So being bisexual took a moment to sink in for her because it was a little hit to her ego
