When I went to college for the first time, my parents ghosted me. I went home for Thanksgiving, knocked on the door, and some stranger I'd never met answered the door. I didn't see them for 17 years. Some people don't see family as important. Now these kids are younger, but I think the ghosting mentality is just who some people are.

I'm shocked by this. As a swede, Emil Forsberg has been my favourite player in the national team since cirka 2017. Our best player in the 2018 world cup.
And also he is (as far as i know) the only national team player from "north" of sweden. Rather the middle geographically. I live in his home town actually (not from there though).

in short, Emil did respond to this in Swedish newspaper "Aftonbladet". Basically he said that she divorced him, and he is denying ghosting anyone and that this is a matter for the lawyers. Not sure what's up, but just wanted to share since you haven't found anything about his response.
