They need to remove this mode. Tried this with my friends and no one could figure out how the scoring works for the longest time, only to realize it was so dumb. Change it to a "upvote other's drawings for points" mode, it's a party game, not a vs AI game.
I think the point system works like this: if you draw some prompt and the next person guesses (approximately) the same prompt, then you both get a point. It only looks at the most recent prompt so you don't have to worry if someone gave you a prompt that was already inaccurate.
