Not really. There are always sides to heroes that aren't seen so many years later. I think it took a larger than life hero and turned him into a person, which imo makes his accomplishments larger, not smaller.

Its not a theory, its literally what happened.
Though is less Jin and more a mixed bag of traits that the whole group had. Jin, Lora, Haze, Adam, hell i'd even argue some of bridgit.
In Short: Mithra created the perfect waifu out of the perceived qualities she believed she lacked, all to lock away her most dangerous abilities.
The dlc do wonders to Mythra character development.
Same for Jin.
I honestly didn't care about Mythra. It was all Jin and Lora for me.

Jin is seriously one of the best fictional villains I've ever seen.
I think my favorite part about Mikhail is the scene where he's just cutting this absurdly large amount of vegetables in the background and no one says a word about it. I expected you to zoom in on it during that scene but honestly not zooming in does it just as much justice as the game does! Also agreed, Lora is TOP TIER

I still find it strange how, even through all the events of Xenoblade 2, Mythra treated Rex more nicely than Addam. Especially considering how young Rex is, with him being more naive and less understanding of the situation he had to deal with. Unlike Addam, who pretty much knew exactly what he was in for.
Maybe it was a special request from Pyra to treat him better?

What Mythra needed most was to simply be accepted as she was. As a person. And loved for her personal traits. Adam could never have done that. As much as he was her friend, he was given Mythra as a tool. To Adam, to all of the Tornan protags, Mythra was a friend, and a weapon, and this how they treated her. To Rex, Pyra and Mythra were only ever people.
I disagree. Adam taught Mythra a lot of valuable lessons, and treated her firmly but with respect, trying to help her understand the world better. It’s only because of Adam that Mythra was able to connect to Rex. He acts more as a parental figure to her than anything.

Mythra was literally as apathetic as Malos at the start.
She needed to grow to understand humans, not simply be accepted. Addam and Milton were patient and understanding to her. They did a great job. There was only so much they could do for her in the wake of torna's destruction.
Both Pyra and Mythra's empathy towards the people and blades of Alrest, as well as the understanding of the dangers of an Aegis are a result of Addam teacher her to give a fuck
If addam only just accepted her for who she is, rex would have had to deal with an apathetic weapon of mass destruction that's only slightly better than Malos
@@potatoesblink3299 As klaus mentioned in the base game, at heart both are information processing units, neither good or evil. Their initial personalities are influenced by the feelings and desires of their driver, no matter how repressed they are, hence why Malos began with hatred for the world (came from Amalthus).
For mythra is the same, without any influence she would just be pneuma without any insecurities nor empathy
Addam may have teached her how to care for others, but the reason she was mythra in the first place is because pneuma became insecure and lost control of her own powers thanks to Addam's deep feelings, as he was given her core as a weapon to be feared of, mixed with his own dislike of having to be prince of Torna. And then similar to Malos, after the party picked on her inherited insecurities through the whole journey, she internalized them, so they were no longer Addam's but her own.
Maybe if addam had a different outlook on the aegis when he awoke her, things would have turned out very different. That's why first impressions are important, people.
Haze being jealous was so adorable. Her hands gestures @ 10:14 reminds me of a determined little kid.
It really makes me like her more, than she was in the base game of XC2.

After that I started using Haze more and I realized she truly is a great character with good moves & combos, combined with her healing abilities

The blurred out gross food occurs in anime all the time. Anime food is always good looking, so they blurr out gross food to avoid making their viewers sick, or something like that. Also, some anime got negative reviews for poorly animated cabbage, so they had to update its look in the DVD release. Yeah, the Japanese love their food.

I've always thought how jealous Addam would be of his descendant and successor, Rex, because of the meals he received from a blade that was once his. While Addam gets an "interesting" array of meals from Mythra, meanwhile in the future, Rex gets mighty helpings of delicious food from a blade that was roasted so hard that she had to seal herself away and modify another persona named Pyra to match the fire element and refinement of Brighid, the pureness and sweetness of Lora and Haze, and the cooking skills of Jin and Aegeon.
One more edit: I just realized Tetsuya Takashi has stated Pyra has a motherly aura to her in regards to Rex. You know where she got that from? Mythra modifying her other persona because Addam acted all parental and in fact had a wife and expected kid on the way

- Lynx786 - it took me a couple play throughs in the original to enjoy and get attached to the characters whereas in torna i adored them essentially from the beginning; that was probably due to the knowledge we had of them from the original game but regardless all the characters in torna are amazing. the battle system was okay to me, i really enjoyed the vanguard switches as well and wish we could use that in the main game lol but i liked the challenge of choosing different synergy routes in the main game instead of just using any element like in torna. the battle system was simplified probably for new players which i would’ve appreciated when i first started playing but at this point i’m 300+ hours in and know this game like the back of my hand haha all in all though i fucking love torna it’s so amazing !!!!

Honestly, it makes sense that Addam and the others would be hard on her. She's practically a toddler who's wielding god like power. She needs some humility and control, otherwise she'll end up hurting the people she cares about. And unfortunately, she learns that fact too late.
I'm just glad she was able to undo what she could in 500 years. She may never have a chance to see her friends again, but she at least learned from her mistakes and atoned for them. That's all anyone can do sometimes, really.

Yeah. The characters weren't bullying her. They were calling her out for acting like a brat, as you do when you have a child who's acting inappropriately. Enabling her rude behavior would be problematic to both Mythra and her peers.
