Hi, i see you have an Ampex 601 or 600 back there...I want to ask you if its have to do some mods to it or if you are using it stock circuit only recaping and changing some out of value components, cause i have one and i want to turn it in to a pre amp but dont know if only change caps to same values or its convenient to make some major changes in the circuit to get more from it...Thank u!!

For all guitars I’m using an AEA RPQ2! For drums it’s a Heritage 1073. These are just for gain purposes - I never use EQ for these videos!
