Amen. And it is Biblical in its nature yet there are people out there being manipulated by satan to try and stall the regrowth of His church. Remember what I’m saying, there is only one reason to tell people not to watch, stop the spread of Our Only Hope Faith in the blood of Christ and the presence of His Holy Spirit

Yes. And since what we witness is so much more of how people try to making sure their faith is perfect and the results of that being the church growing farther apart than it already is, then maybe we should celebrate this getting together and agreeing on basic Christianity as something coming from God. Few seem concerned with the sin of keeping the church shattered into all our different groups we reside in.

The Word is already alive. Nothing makes it alive.
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
      Hebrews 4:12
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
      John 1:14

The single most important message of all prophets to their people was to worship God alone and none else and to follow His teachings. All of them, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Jesus, Muhammad and others, in addition to those we do not know - invited people to worship God and shun false gods.
Moses declared:"Hear, O Israel The Lord our God is one Lord."(Deuteronomy 6:4). This was repeated 1500years later by Jesus, when he said: "The first of all the commandments is, ‘Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.’(Mark 12:29)
So, the greatest commandment, the most important belief according to Jesus, is that God is one. If Jesus was God he would have said, ‘I am God, worship me.’ Instead, he merely repeated a verse from the Old Testament confirming that God is One.
Jesus did not say, "I am God." There is not a single text in the Bible. Jesus says, "I am God." He said more than thirty times that he is a prophet and messenger. He said he's human more than 82 times. This is what the Qur'an says that Jesus is the Messenger of God.
This aligns with the mission of Jesus, as taught in Islam, where Jesus was sent to the Children of Israel to confirm the message of the past Prophets - to believe in the One True God.
most Christians nowadays believe in trinity.. Jesus said i came not to destroy the commandments of moses i came just to fulfill.
Muslims reject the Christian belief that God is a Trinity, not only because the Quran rejects it, but also because if this was God’s true nature, He would have clearly revealed it to Abraham, Noah, Jesus and all of the other prophets.
ISLAM is the submission in worship to Allah Alone and it is the essence of all the Messages sent to all nations before us. Allah is All-Just and All-Wise. He does not intend confusion for His Creation. The religion accepted to Him is the one chosen by Him. Its essence must be One, because He is One. It is free from geographical, racist, and status oriented concepts. It is Perfect and it is the complete way of life. All these qualities are chosen by Allah in His Only Religion: Islam. Its details are in in the Qur’an, read it and come with an open heart because none can expose better than the World of Allah. The Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. He did not author it. He was unlettered. Its translation is available in many languages in bookstores or in an Islamic Center close to you.
Especially for episode 2, I wish I could have seen some influence/consultation with Seventh-Day Adventist Christians. We have continued to keep the biblical Sabbath while also living as evangelical Christians! 😊 I have so many more comments haha, but mostly just wanted to share my appreciation. Blessings.

May the Lord return. Amen. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heaven is forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but a kingdom awaits you! Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! New channel here, I’d appreciate any kind of support. Don’t give up! God loves you so much! So do I. The Lord bless you!!

I was wondering how Bishop Barron was able to adjust his schedule to be part of the Chosen's group of consultants as he has a lot on his plate and a global ministry, WORD ON FIRE... then I had seen an interview with Bishop Barron and Jonathan Roumie, who is a Roman Catholic, this was the connection I'd assume. I must congratulate the writer, the director and of course Jonathan Roumie, as he has done a most amazing performance of portraying Jesus that is fully divine and human...one who through Him ALL things were made...His creation is amazing, diverse, beautiful, full of joy and wonder...a Jesus finally who is, NOT STIFF & UNAPPROACHABLE.

Me too. I love hearing anything from The Chosen. They are so authentic … so real … I’ve watched both series plus many times. Each time I pick something up I’ve missed … the walk with my precious Lord has taken on a new dimension … just watched Jesus teaching ‘the sons of Thunder’ that he wants them to show others ‘another way of responding’ … just a simple thing but oh so very powerful … in other words to demonstrate how Jesus would respond! Love it! I’ve loved my Lord for over 60 years. I’m now 82. I very reluctantly started to watch The Chosen because my oldest son told me to just ‘come and see’

This IS such a beautiful show and so needed "FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS" but we ALWAYS have to remember that (for now) that fallen punk angel the devil IS the God of earth! So why would people lay the blame at Father God's feet for suffering? When it's the ENEMY constantly attacking us and our bodies, it's the only way he can get back at God! So isn't funny that when we are suffering THAT'S when we reach to The Lord the most aggressively!? Until we learn and understand we should be reaching out to Him DAILY! And spending our time with Him and STANDING ON THE WORD AND PROMISES EVERYDAY! God Bless you all The Chosen family 🙏❤

Yes!! The Old Testament flashbacks! As a starting out Christian it was strongly on my heart to read the whole Bible and start from the beginning, that was the fire God laid on my heart, to build up my foundation. I started in Genesis 3 years ago and am just now on Ezekiel (I think the table of contents if you will is different, it depends on factors, I couldn’t tell you the one that’s in my Bible to be able to pinpoint my progress)…and in the Chosen, every flashback, I get it right away…the only one I struggled with was Moses and Joshua with the serpent on the cross. Hmm completely off topic but I would like some serpent shoes so that everywhere I tread is squashing … you get the idea.

Had to pause the video and comment… In regards to healing the withered hand before/after eating the grain - I wouldn’t have known which happened first in the Bible. And unless someone asked me, I probably wouldn’t have given it any more thought after watching that episode. But now that it’s been discussed, I won’t forget it. I think the storyline flowed smoothly in the show, so it worked for that purpose. But I believe that God knew Dr. Huffman was a bit uncomfortable with it being “wrong,” so he was given a chance set things straight. And because I’m also a stickler for details, God made sure I found this video. Don’t you just love how super-cool our God is?!?!

"As long as The Chosen makes people read their bible more carefully...."
I think tHAT ↑ is the 'anointinting' of The Chosen. That seeing the dramatized portrayal of the history recorded in the scriptures will inspire people's hearts to seek to know more about Jesus and know the choice provided to them to accept Him as Lord.
Dallas has people who can and want to, "pay it forward" monetarily, for the production of this series.
We should all also 'pRAY it forward'.
Pray for The Chosen to be used according to God's Will to teach the gospel and draw everyone to seek the truth of God's Word in the bible.
Pray it forward for everyone who sees anything of The Chosen.
Pray that they will "come and see".
Pray that they will hear and receive and accept God's Word.
Pray that they wiLL fall in love with Jesus who is God, our Lord, and Who was the sacrifice that paid our sin debt death penalty so that we can be "saved" out of condemnation, and redeemed and restored to eternity in God's Presence and Provision.

I loved Rabbi Sobel's expression, "people settle for half an inheritance," and Dr. Huffman's note that the OT and Jesus "make the best sense" each of the other. And was glad to hear the scriptwriters were ready to sacrifice an exciting idea in service to authenticity--they must sometimes feel like Abraham sacrificing his son when they edit out a dramatic and well crafted scene, and I'm grateful their humility matches that of the consultants. Speaking of humble, although I'm greatly looking forward to hearing Bishop Barron, I hope Fr. Guffee knows how much his insights and manner of sharing were appreciated in the first season! Thanks to all three of you for your dedication to the essential and broadmindedness in the service of artistic expression--the results are jewels of great quality!

Jesus told you that he is a human being, a prophet and a messenger of God
You do not follow Jesus, peace be upon him. You follow Paul, who claimed that Jesus is God

As “seekers” and others (by God’s Providence) find The Chosen, and the desire stated here (and at other times by Dallas and Amanda) regarding the desire for people to search the scriptures more, it would be an easy, no/low cost, and beneficial addition to credits to simply add something like, “for more on the accounts portrayed in this episode, read -- and --- in a copy of Scripture“.
(Note: I much prefer referring to Biblical “accounts” versus Bible “stories” to set the truth apart from fiction.)

I believe it important to understand that Jesus was an observant Jew living under the Old Covenant in the law of Moses… The vast majority of the Gospel story takes place under the Old Covenant … The New Covenant does not begin until Jesus cries out, “It is finished!”, from the cross… The modern church has long since lost its Jewish roots which is tragic… its people do not know where they come from in many respects… most tragically this has led to antisemitism in the church throughout history since before the crusades to the present day…
