    I’m stuck in bed with Covid and just found your channel. Disney is so sentimental to me and I’m really finding my self super emotional watching another family embrace theme parks the way we did when our kids were growing up. I’m a grammie now and can’t wait to do it all over again with my grandkids, but also absolutely have embraced theme parking as a 52 year old. What a beautiful family, thanks for sharing with this emotional old lady stuck in bed tonight!!

    I’m a coaster enthusiast who watches all your videos, but also someone who will choose the Disney parks (TN resident passholder) to casually go visit because of the ability to show up and simply enjoy the atmosphere. It was so refreshing to sit back and watch a Disney Vlog that was just someone enjoying their day instead of someone trying to force a storyline out of a day (guilty on our channel). Though, that Simpsons better than FoP opinion 😅
    DESPITE THAT OPINION, thanks for all the awesome work! Content is HARD, and you’re pumping out great stuff! Keep it up!

    Honestly I might miss Epcot being the less crowded park. Now that Disney is so crowded and stressful, getting shitfaced around the World Showcase has generally become the highlight of my Disney trips. That, and lapping Mission Space. My cousin works at Epcot so I'm sure I'll be down there to get the credit soon enough but hopefully the park keeps some of its laid back atmosphere.

    This was a fun watch for me as a fan of your channel, coaster enthusiast, and Disney Cast Member that loves Disney Parks. We have a few differing opinions for sure but they're always fun to hear, although The Simpsons being called a better simulator than Flight of Passage was the most offensive to me haha. Cosmic Rewind I have ranked number 8 out of my 109 credits in between Fury 325 and The Beast, I absolutely adore it. One Way or Another is easily the best song with the ride, although I enjoy all the songs a lot except for Disco Inferno. Cosmic Rewind is also drastically better in rows 5-10. Also I love Epcot and the ride's story tying into the park makes me very happy. I could go all day about Disney World though. Excited to see your follow up content on it!

    glad you had fun! Disney is a great place for kids and the coasters are decent for what it is. fun fact there use to be a wild mouse in AK. it was a crossed from Dinosaur and had a cheesy dino theme as well. it got quietly closed for cost during pandemic.

    Awesome vid!!! I'm glad you had a blast with the fam! I got that same Kennywood shirt, but mine is Black. Woot Woot!
    Of all the parks, Epcot is my favorite because I'm an architecture and history nerd and the World Showcase has all that, plus dining. I'm also a fan because my USA soccer Crush, Alex Morgan is famous for her Epcot experience lol, and I like to party like her too!
    Here's an architecture tidbit. Cinderella's castle looks wat taller than the 189 ft that it is. It's because of a design called "Forced Perspective" which makes smaller objects larger than it appears. In this instance, Disney makes the building look giant by making the top features thinner than the bottom ones.
    Awesome video!!!

      I'm a fan of Dinosaur too. It's actually pretty intense. And it seems to be kind of overlooked so the lines aren't the worst. The biggest problem is that since it has a low height limit and involves dinosaurs, little kids go on it and it scares the bejesus out of them.

      Being from Florida you made an excellent decision on Universal and Seaworld/BGT. I have the premier and platinum pass and you will can easily get your money's worth with just a couple of visits. Like the premier pass at Universal, free valet on most days, express pass to all express rides after 4 pm, just using that all in one day is more the pass costs. Valet is 75 after like 4pm and just scanning your pass and paying nothing to valet park is so worth having the pass. At Seaworld/BGT the platinum pass gets a 1 year photo pass, major discounts that literally turn a 30 dollar shirt to just under 20 dollars. The the discounted day passes with the ticket, like 40$ day ticket for friends and even better 4 free day tickets per cycle to bring a friend. Platinum pass also good for every SeaWorld property. Best places in the state with getting the most bang for your buck. Disney I have veered away from just because COVID made it hard to there with reservation times. Before Covid I would just go over for an afternoon on a spur of the moment. I hope the pricing for annual passes is lowered for FL resisdents since the last time I looked.

    4 parks in 4 days without a break day in there, and you packed in a lot more rides in a day that I ever managed to when I went there, with a baby in tow... all I can say is, I don't know where you find the stamina.
    The last time I went was in 2017 so a lot of these rides weren't open yet, but of the Disney coasters I've ridden, Everest and Big Thunder are my favorites. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is useful as a gauge of the absolute most intense thing my wife and child will ride--if it's gentler than BTMR they'll do it, otherwise, no sale.

    • @AirtimeThrills

      A break between parks would have been spectacular. There just isnt enough time though

    • @MattMcIrvin
      @MattMcIrvin 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AirtimeThrills On our first trip we did 3 parks/3 days (skipped Hollywood Studios, so I ended up missing my only chance to experience the old back half of the park) and we were so dragging by the end of that that it was hard to think. It didn't help that we were in a relatively large extended family group and it was like herding cats, trying to get everyone pointed in the same direction.
      On our second trip, just my immediate family, we did it as a 5 1/2-day vacation and did no parks on the third day, which we spent chilling in the pool at the resort and poking around Disney Springs. (My daughter insists to this day that that was the best day of the vacation.) That helped a lot. It was key for my feet alone. We got enough of a second wind that we actually went back to Epcot for the last half day.
      But I think that in general, when I go to theme parks I just can't do stuff with the cadence of your typical theme-park enthusiast. My brain fuzzes out from sensory overload and I go into this sort of GP hypnosis. Having a plan helps. It does complicate things that my family are not thrill-seekers, but my wife naturally doesn't want to be the one escorting the kid *all* day, so I end up having to split off from them and rejoin a lot. Now that kid is a teenager and rather independent, that makes it easier.

    • @MattMcIrvin
      @MattMcIrvin 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ...oh, yeah, also, at Disney parks, the thing my kid REALLY likes is the alternate-reality games they have at some of the parks, which involve just burning up hours of time walking around the park looking at things and finding clues. If you're doing that you're not going on a lot of rides.

    On a side-note, it’s trippy knowing that, back in 2004, a daily ticket to Disney cost $42. The closest I’ve ever gotten to the Disney experience was Disney Springs back in 2021.

    Big fan of your content, not a Big fan of the OU hat lol. Obviously I’m a biased Texas fan though. Either way, great video. Very informative. I’m taking my 7 and 3 year old in September to Disney world for a week. Same trip as your essentially, all four parks.
    I’d love to hear a more thorough review and tips on Disneyworld as as whole form you. Like I said big fan. Keep it up. Hook’em 🤘🏻lol

    I saw the Jungle Book showing of Kite Tails. The kites in both shows are supposed to crash like that during the show.
    Also, I am kinda surprised you didn't mention the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular over at Disney's Hollywood Studios when you were there.

    You definitely missed out not riding Ratatouille, it's incredible! And your Flight of Passage statement is blasphemy lol. I think maybe the long line made your experience not as good. I dk, cause that Simpsons ride doesn't even touch FOP haha. Oh well, still love your content and I'm a Disney fanatic.
    Did you see the Lion King show in Animal Kingdom?? It's so, so good!!!
    I was super disappointed in SDMT too, people hyped it up so much. I was like ummm, ok afterwards lol. I love our Small World but you guys have the superior version in Disney Land.

    Rock n roller coaster is legitimately great, I loved it my first time and after four years of being away from it I got back on it pretty certain I had overrated it but I had just as much fun the second time. Great choice for a kiddo’s 150th coaster in my opinion

    glad to see tron testing. maybe it's on track for a 2023 opening. also i hope and pray they dont do the guardian style thing where you have to play the lottery boarding pass system. just let people get in a regular line, and wait. be a shame to go all the way there for that ride, and get told sorry you cant ride b/c our boarding system is full.

    You look sooooo tired at the end of this video haha. Summer is obviously an absolutely horrendous time to be in Florida with the oppressive heat, humidity, and constant storms....and you went open to close every day, park after park after park, with a kid and infant in tow. I seriously feel bad for you this trip could not have been fun. At least not being very familiar with WDW it seemed like much of it was new and exciting.

    • @AirtimeThrills
      @AirtimeThrills  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      We were really tired at the end of the Magic Kingdom day, especially since I was up til about 4am finishing my vlog that came out that day (the Kings Dominion one) we actually left a little bit early that day because we were so done. We stayed til close for all the other parks though, but we definitely did not get there at opening. We arrived to each park between 11-12. I would have loved to but with the family, sleep and rest was necessary.

    Yeah, Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom is kind more like Disneyland's Matterhorn, just with a space theme, as it has two sides as well. Due to it's popularity they brought it to Disneyland as well, but made some changes due to lack of space, and well, that park already had the Matterhorn, so it's more it's own ride, than a copy of an existing one, a weird history for sure.

    I'm a Disney enthusiast before a coaster enthusiast so this was a very entertaining vlog! You got a lot of great shots that are neglected by most people which was a nice surprise.
    I found you distinguishing the on-ride theming of Tower of Terror as lacking interesting. Tower of Terror, from an on-ride show perspective, has been embarrassing for quite a long time now. The narration, music, and sound effects have been completely out of sync with the visuals since *2008.* In fact, depending on the day you go, the narration may be way too quiet, garbled, contain static, coming from blown out or muted speakers, or sometimes missing altogether. I love the effect with the hallway dimming into a starry sky, but the window at the end is now projected by an HD projector that is incapable of true black so it has an awkward cheap-looking light square around it, and appears to be a completely different color than the rest of the hallway pre-transition. Audio depicting cables snapping and a thunderstorm during the drop sequence has been MIA for months.
    Basically, a lot of minuscule things that add up to something much worse than its full potential. They remain unfixed because it's viewed as "good enough" by management. A "they're tourists, whadda they know?" mentality. So I thought you, on your first-ever time at this park, noticing that something was up with the show quality was very interesting since that flies in the face of that mentality. Sorry, I'm a huge nerd about this stuff. It really should be the best ride at the resort, though. If it weren't for the excellent theming in the queue and preshow, I'd share your sentiment completely.
    Also just to add - Everest isn't my favorite coaster, but it's my all-time favorite _ride!_ At least my avatar says so. (Sorry about the nightmares!)

      @AirtimeThrills  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am a Disney GP for sure but just comparing ToT to Guardians, which I personally think is an S-Tier Disney ride, it fell so flat for me. Definitely not really up to Disney's standards it seems to me.

    • @asudevil316
      @asudevil316 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have been on ToT over 100 times...only once did the ride not sync properly

    • @CoasterSn00p
      @CoasterSn00p 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@asudevil316 You know that weird bit of dead space after the hallway scene and the doors close, before the elevator ascends to the 5th Dimension scene? It’s supposed to be instantaneous, instead there’s this weird often ~5 second pause where riders sit in the dark staring at a closed door with no bgm or narration. That’s a result of the desynced narration and if you rode anytime since 2008 you’ve definitely experienced it.
