What if one has H. pylori, gastritis, ibs, sibo and fungal infection all at the same time? I feel like there is literally nothing left for me to eat, constantly bloated and in agonizing pain and indigestion after every single meal... and have developted Hashimoto thyroiditis
Can you please share if you are taking for and gastritis and if you are what is it? Have you tried apple cider vinegar before eating anything. I had all of what you have and watching Dr Eric Berg's videos helped me a lot when know other doctor helped me. This doctor is awesome too! HPlyori gives you ulcers if you have it then do not used Apple Cider Vinegar look for digestive enzymes at health food stores.
@eg2102 thank you! I hope you can find answers and are given a helpful protocol. I live in Portugal and conventional gastroenterologists are so behind, the only thing that was prescribed to me was antibiotics, they don't seem to connect any dots to other interconnected issues. Healthcare in America is crazy expensive but for sure you have so many knowledgeable professionals who care to actually study the complexities
@NansGlobalKitchen I did an endoscopy with biopsy 2 years ago and was diagnosed with chronic gastritis and h. pylori. Was prescribed antibiotics and ppi but didn't take it, because I was very immune compromised and read about many cases of people developing other infections months after and the g.pilory again. I still don't know what to do and which doctor. I was quite anorexic, probably due to mal absorption, high stress, mold exposure, despite loving food and eating a normal amount, ironically, so the doctors just wanted me to eat more and everything, and that pressure just made matters worse. Became dependent on chewing gum to force digestion all day long and now I feel like I may have developed an ulcer too. The only drug that I started taking was kreon (enzymes). I use avc because I enjoy it, have no idea if I should or not. I don't take it on an empty stomach though. I am at a point where I can't even distinguish what I should or should not eat. One food is good for one thing but not advised for other. Fermented foods for example. I also have a sluggish gallbladder. So even if low stomach acid is one of my root problems, if then the acidic food if not neutralised properly in the small intestine it can create even more issues. It's a whole conundrum.
with me it seems like i have slow digestion because every time i eat dinner i get really tired and it dosen't matter what i eat but what seems odd it is that i can eat both trigger foods for both candida and sibo and feel fine but i also have other symptoms like menatl and emotional state has gone down , i can't handle stressful situations as well as before and i have hypothyroid . so the 1 thing that i can't get a answer on from any md ive seen is what is the root cause of my IBS . i feel like im at a dead end
Need to always get the gut and iron levels checked ALWAYS. I stopped my thyroid meds and I feel like I million bucks now. I was mis- diagnosed with hypothyroid , I am a person with low iron issues and that can throw your thyroid reads off.
Good morning. This was very helpful. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and high blood pressure about 12 years ago. I am 67. I am on medication for both issues. My initial symptom was fatigue. I continue to take my probiotic to help my gut issues. I've tried the FODMAP diet, but I may try the Candida diet because it could be that eating too many greens is causing my continuous bloating and loose bowels. I will try to look at the initial labs before I was put on Levothyroxine. Thank you for the knowledge you share.
I've always had a fairly high TSH, but I've felt fine. I started having chronic fatigue a couple years ago and my TSH went even higher. Talked to a functional nutritionist and she had me take a hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA) and said my minerals were depleted. Specifically, I was a "4 lows" type, which means low in calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium. Ironically I was taking all these in capsule form like you do, but apparently not absorbing them. She ordered a "4 lows" mix from Vykon Customs a powder you mix with water and take twice a day with meals. It's a 90 day supply or so, but after 3 weeks the fatigue went away and has not returned. My TSH returned to more reasonable levels too. Do an HTMA and check your minerals before trying hormone replacement.
An MD being interviewed on Dr John Campbell's channel recommended taking a couple of drops of Lugol's Solution before bed, to kill any bacteria in the small intestine. I am interested in knowing what your opinion of this is, Dr Ruscio. Thank you.
@@dawntaylor603 Iodine is in general very effective against bacteria. Until Dr Tina Peers mentioned it during a recent discussion with Dr John Campbell about Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, I had never heard of it being used to make the small intestine sterile.
What is the proper dosage selenium and bovine/ porcine adrenal glandular for someone who is very under weight with multiple supplement sensitivites? Is adrenal glandular good for someone who is not converting their T4's to T3? ❤💙
It is great info, dr I initially had a TSH level of 5.6. After starting a gluten-free diet and taking selenium supplements, my TSH increased to 11 over three months. Although my T4 levels are still within the normal range, they are decreasing. I am concerned that I might be consuming too much selenium. I'm not sure what's wrong and am seeking help. Do I need to start medication before things get worse?
Dear Doctor Michael Ruscio How about histamine and food intolerance ... Is that issue with gut or microbiome /bacteria overgrowth ...... How to heal it
Hello Michael, I am 30 years old and I haven't gained weight for many years. I had the necessary tests done and no problems were found. My weight is 46 kg and my height is 176 cm. My stomach is sensitive. What tests do you think I should do and what should I suspect? Have a nice day
Great info doctor, you've given me so much hope, thank you. Been doing well on rice and meat but I i wonder if the rice is now feeding fungus. Does the elemental diet work for bacterial and fungal types? I fear I have both, or all 3 types if you include immune type too. It's frustrating and I feel like I'm running out of options.
I have my right thyroid with small fybroid having low hydrocolic acid get EXTREMELY full when eat even if eat small green metal even not eating caras help please havefeeling if tire ven waking up in morning feel tired all day and have all that since 2012.want improve and my health to be reganared
Hi there! You could use our Elemental Heal as a full diet replacement short-term, or as a semi-elemental diet alongside whole foods. I’d recommend highly digestible, healthy foods, like chicken and well-cooked vegetables, especially in homemade soups, and bone broth. For a diet overhaul, it might be worth trying low fodmap or paleo.
My thyroid health is out of wack I am on no medication my metabolism is high. Insulin resistance even if I am on low carb diets. Before when I ate a little high carbs my insulin was better. Now I cant lose weight has gut issues no gallbladder a complete hysterectomy without any treatment HRT etc. I cant sleep lots of stress have to see doc today hope I don't have to go on meds. My BP and BSugar is a bit high. Want to get them be normal again I had HPlyori in the past could this be the reason I am having these issues
I’m so sorry you’re dealing with all of this. Sounds absolutely terrible and draining. H. Pylori infections are pretty pernicious, especially if unresolved. Does anything seem to help your symptoms?

Look into fasting to give your digestive system a break and rebuild your GI good bacteria with clean food, no sugar, probiotics when you refeed..

What's the advance therapy for sibo+ibs constipation????
What about diabetes or low blood sugar and thyroid diseases? I believe that they are closely linked.
