Kinda late to the comment section here, but I have to add that understand Ren has no professional training and in fact much he learned has been self taught and via TH-cam. Also his "Bardcore" as he has called it, harkens to the old days of yore, the bards and minstrels whom were the entertainers, storytellers and keepers of lore. Glad you did this again, it's well worth watching you guys get the full story. Apparently he's in talks with them now. Let's hope it becomes a reality. Peace and love dudes.
He posted he's been in talks with Amazon while in LA last week (where he also shot the Murderer acoustic version). It's everybody's guess if this was to get them put his music on Prime and/or to also have them produce the series. He certainly has the numbers to back it up now. the amount of little details are untouchable. when Ren tells his tale of Jenny, how she felt different that night, he turns and looks behind. the fact Jenny is 14 and there is also a little girl graffiti on the wall. in Screech’s tale, the way Sam (the videographer) spins and stops in front during the knocking at Patricks door, then gets behind Ren during the phone call. he gets back in front of Ren literally as Ren sings the line, “Screech turns to face the blue lights.” also, the way look on his face during that haunting howling to start Violet’s tale and the terrified look of when Violet’s father “tuck her tight” every night. the way he pauses to let you have that fraction of a moment to let it sink in before continuing the story. Jenny and Screech are the mini versions of their parents, Screech being violent and Jenny standing still and silent. its just crazy how much he (and Sam) put into this. last thing, I never heard ANYONE mention the anemia bag before lmao but I can assure you that EVERYTHING in Ren’s videos is deliberate. great video, guys. glad you got to show Greg while Billy & Snook got to actually take it in this time. 😂
The enema bag was because that's what they could get their hands on for the set. Lol. They described the hard time they had getting it together. It's in the 2½ hour live stream he did after the release of Su!c!de. The first half hour is kind of heavy, then it's funny.
he says London city 2005 it’s the year- go back in time and then back to 2005. So Jenny and screech tales set roughly 14 years later . The cycle of violence and pain- Jenny 14, wearing heels - she’s walked these streets many times before- Jenny was a sex worker and screech was a thug. Screech took after his father, violet being abused and Jenny comes into sex work - It comments on so many social issues
Yes!!!! I've been looking for this comment as I work through every reaction video to the trilogy. After I got over the plot twist at the end of Violet I realized that Jenny was 14. If she was 25, it's still a tragic end to life. But at 14, it was a tragic life to live.
@@sugarhigh55 And more so - 14yo sex worker, who went through the same path about thousand times before - which means at best started in a field of prostitution as not 13yo (= 1 way there, 1 way back home), or worse, at around 11. That alone is beyond horrible.
Also...Violet moved into a council flat on a welfare scheme...for this to happen, she was already pregnant..by her father....hence also Stevie calling her a slut...😢😢
Very happy that you revisited this one. SO much to take in with this brilliant Shakespearean tragedy. I get frustrated with some reactions when it's missed how he describes Jenny....why would a 14 year old be walking the same street a 1000 times, in high heel shoes? Almost no one seems to catch that. Did you? Also, for "Screech's Tale", it seems that almost no one catches that Screech's girlfriend and his friend Patrick, happen to be "busy", or not available, at the same time. Consider why. Maybe they were together? Patrick wasn't home...was he with Screech's girl at her place and that's why she was "busy"? It adds a whole other layer to the story. Also consider that Jenny and Screech were born side by side, and essentially died side by side, one street apart. Born on the same day (2005), died on the same day (2019). An entire family, mother and twins that never knew each other, wiped out by a cycle of violence. An abused mother, a 14 year old prostitute, and a 14 year old thug/murderer. There's sheer brilliance in the line "please let my baby stay alive"....at this point you don't yet know that it's twins, but "baby" followed by "stay" can also be read as "babies" because the S in "stay" isn't necessarily separate from "baby". Say it out loud- you'll understand what I mean. Such a clever way to hide the twist reveal while still giving it up at the same time...if you can catch it. Brilliant.Powerful stuff. In "Violet's Tale", the way he uses the acoustics of his environment to accentuate the song is absolute brilliance too....and btw, Ren is self taught on the guitar. Just one of many instruments he plays including drums, bass, & piano. The man is truly special. A prodigy. From what I understand, he wrote the first 2 songs after reading an article about a very young man murdering a young woman in London, he didn't write "Violet's Tale" until a few years later and that one was of his own making. He said that there are 2 songs so far that he wrote, that he knew in his gut were special. "Hi Ren" (of course) and "Violet's Tale". (He was right on both counts imo.) He also said he feels like he has a 3rd one ("Money Game" 3) that fits that same feeling coming out with his new album. He has yet to release it or shoot the video. It's coming soon.
I did catch the high heeled shoes reference. I also like how he hinted at Jenny being violets because they were both statues when confronted with violence
Patrick and Screech's girl WERE together... in the promo released for Screech's tale, ren posted a video... Screech had mugged someone and was recording his antics on the stolen phone... this shows his girl and Patrick together...
1 - they knew it was the wrong bag, but had to work with what they had. 2 - similarly, it's a child's bed (what they had - tight budget). It was balanced on books, which you can actually see in a frame if paused right. 3- the foot of the bed has a whiteboard labeled "Violet" 4 - it was shot in his flat, made to look like a hospital. 5 - the 'Instagram stories' hint at Patrick & Screech's girl hooking up behind screech's back 6 - they also show Screech was being raised by an abusive father (or a father that could not handle screech's actions growing up, so turned to abuse as punishment). It made Screech desperate to score some $ & escape. 7 - Screech planned a robbery that went bad. He fled with a knife he took to get away, & fatefully ran into Jenny (the knife doesn't match the lyrics, but a bard would change details of a story to make the song more captivating. This is Bardcore 😉) 8 - an unsupported theory is that Richard was so close on hand because he had just been with a prostitute himself. 9 - Jenny & Violet were not innocents either, Jenny a teen prostitute, Violet a welfare fraud. 10 - it's also theorized that Stevie was NOT the father, and that Violet's father (who was sleeping with her) was... There is no time line presented, but it is possible that once Violet starts to show she is already with Stevie, & he calls her a slut because he thinks she is sleeping around. 11 - lost & overshadowed in the multitude of amazing bits in the tales is 1 line of imagery & metaphor I love - 'working at a grocery store/warehouse' "stacking jars like pickled bricks". Its brilliant, and would stand out in so many other artists' works as a highlight, but I've yet to see any reactors even notice it.
Ren's fans call this style Bardcore (like the bard Jaskier, The Witcher but in modern times) here's the origin story of the trilogy 🤩😁🤯 This wasn't originally a trilogy story. Ren read in the paper one day with a small article about a 14 yr old boy killing a young prostitute with a knife in an attempted robbery. Knife crime had been skyrocketing in London at this time. Later that same evening the boy had been shot and killed by the police . It disturbed him, so he set out to write a commentary not just on senseless violence, but on how desensitized we've become to it. The words he ends both Jenny and Screech's Tales with is "It's such a Shame" we say these words all to often and just move on, without a second thought. The the lead inspector at the scene said " So Young, It's such a shame". Violets Tale was written over 2 years later adding yet another layer of commentary by Ren. He wanted us to consider not only generational violence but to make us look at all angles of society that we turn a blind eye to. Both characters are born out of violence on that cruel night and then both killed with brutal violence in the same night 14yrs later. Also, his lyrics have even more meaning when you read in between the lines. For example he doesn't say what Jenny was doing or why she wanted to escape from this place & life, or why Screech thought she was older saying at Patrick's door "I left this lady lying on the floor". Could it be the way she's dressed & her heavy makeup? Also why is a 14yr old girl out so late at night alone in a sketchy area wearing high heels & that "she's walked it a thousand times before" everything points to Jenny being an underage prostitute, showing us what Ren writes has reason & makes us think. There's no fat on the bone, every word is weighed & has meaning. Also, how can both these siblings be so cursed? Jenny has the same traits as her mother Violet, quiet, voiceless, and timid. Where as Screech mirrors his father Stevie in every way, Loud, obnoxious, and easily prone & provoked into violence. They didn't know one another and had never met their biological parents. What made these kids so much like their parents? Was it simply Nature, inherited traits due to their genetic make-up OR Nurture, being brought up in the broken governmental system filled with, mistreated & in many cases, abused children? He organically takes us on this journey, leaving us to think shouldn't we be doing better job in this so called "advanced, wealthy, 1st world society. I' loving your reactions, they can't come out fast enough. Cheers 🥂
After watching this one many times, I finally noticed that when Jenny and Screech met, Ren introduces them as "a whore named Jenny , a boy named Screech." I had thought he had said, a girl named Jenny, ect.
@@ketolife2797 actually he doesn't say "a whore" in that line, it's "A Poor girl named Jenny" . The accent is what throws people off, especially because his head is turned away when he say's that line so you don't even have the ability to read his lips. So he really doesn't give it away straight forward, you have to read in-between the lines and come to the realization by looking at the big picture of the entire story.
If you live in London, Paddington is sex worker central. A 14 yr old girl there, late at night , in heels, where she's "walked a thousand times before " is definitely a sex worker.
@@robmarar yeah Ren tends to leave things open to interpretation so that we can take what we want from what he says. It's the same reason he won't give away the meaning behind the pig that makes a recurring appearance in most of his videos...
Much better. All your smiles were a bit creepy in version 1.0. (Ha - I think most of us assumed you didn't catch the words, instead of assuming you were monsters.) ;)
Thank goodness you did this again! NOW, this is my favourite reaction to this performance/song. You fully grasped Rens immense talent. Thankyou so much. Love from the UK 💕
Hi guys great reaction! (2.0 much better!) Just so you guys are aware Ren has plans to use this along with a few other things (some we have seen and some we haven't) to take to Netflix as a proof of concept! He wants a series on Netflix telling stories (mostly dark) using music and one take performances! I am here for that!!!
Hopefully someone has further blown your mind by pointing out that Jenny and Screech's tales came out in 2019. In Violets Tale, he says 'In London City 2005." So Violets Tale was set fourteen years prior.🤯 You're welcome. Lol He is so brilliant! 💜✨
Glad you did this one again guys. The first time I heard these tales and caught the twist at the end I started the entire thing over just to make sure I heard things correctly. I genuinely enjoyed both this 2.0 review and the first one. The first go you had me extra hyped with the artistry even in some parts I hadn't picked up on prior and they to see you fully experience it in it's entirety was chef's kiss.
23:30 You what to know how purposeful Ren is? Check 20:28 Big man (no hate) talks about Ren's faces. It is not by accident he said something about Ren in that moment. Ren is portraying Violate waking up in the hospital not knowing where she is (in my opinion). 20:18 28:25 I also believe your friend is right here. Violate passes, Father goes to prison for life. Jenny freezes in fear like her mother and becomes the same fate. Screech was like his father filled with rage... Lastly, I'll add this while I'm thinking about it. I also believe that Screech's GF was cheating on him with his friend. That is why he never answered and she was "busy".
I’m glad you reacted to his again. There is so much to absorb and his accent gives me trouble sometimes too. I suggest you react to the live performance he gave of the Tales in Brighton. Watching the audience react to this is captivating. The video is in his YT list of videos-possibly filed under “Live”. Edit: Also check out this video by Ren-this is a 1:30 tease Ren put out about Screech just before the release of Violet’s Tale . It is called “In morte, ut in vita, numquam partiemur”. I won’t say anything more. Enjoy!
I'm so glad you revisited this, I wish other reactors who don't get it would be brave and honest enough to do the same. Love the banter too. Thanks guys.
You guy’s need to check out the 360 live version more in depth details! Great job loved the enthusiasm on this one I watched your first reaction I remember you didn’t take it seriously but as you became Ren fans you’ve appreciated him more. Thanks for coming back.
regarding the plucking, it's very much a theatre thing - especially that ultra-hard twang just before the scene begins. I can't cite sources because I can't remember other than having attended a few plays - it's like a musical 'setting the scene' as well as a call-to-attention for the audience. BTW good on you for revisiting this, and I really loved the timely meme-inserts Great stuff!
Im so happy you did this again, and understood the genius of Ren. This month is very exciting..love music pt4 tomorrow ( i hope you've done 1,2 and 3, then a track a week . Album release, and track list coming today! 🎉🎉🎉
I love watching your reactions to Ren-I felt exactly like you when I first heard Hi REN and went on to view more of his catalogue. It’s so amazingly fresh to hear something so unique, creative, masterful-I feel like I’m watching a da Vinci in real time!
Glad you took a second look. So worth it. It is mindblowing! I remember exactly when I heard it for the first time. I was driving and had a TH-cam random playlist on. I remember the exact bend in the road I was on because I got chills!!! Great second reaction!!! ❤
I forget what the big guys name is, but it’s hilarious when you have him on.. sometimes he looks so clueless and it cracks me up because it’s fitting to so many people, even me!
Best ren tales reaction I've saw I saw ur first 1 and hoped you would hear it again but to do 2.0 just made it authentic real goosebumps. Now I've requested lose yourself 11 time's by kasey Chambers live. The first thing to pop up after ren was yip is it a Oman lottery ticket today..so now its lasers turn..
So glad you did this 2.0! Everytime I hear this trilogy anymore it makes me wonder if Screech and Jenny's dad was actually Violet's dad and that's what made her move out at 16 and get a job. It could also be why Stevie thought she was lying to him and got so angry at her quietness. I wouldn't admit to it or talk about it either if I was her. ✌️&❤️
I thought the same. Also nobody get's help with social housing without there being a real problem going on that a person is in need of help with. It just show's an extra level to Ren's genius leaving little questions like this in because it's keeping it alive in ppl's minds even when the music stops playing.
Great job with this round 2 reaction. For a really good classic but not well known story song, check out Bob Dylan’s “Joey” (about Crazy Joe Gallo) from his 1976 album Desire. Another great story song but we’ll known on the album is “Hurricane” about Rueben ‘Hurricane’ Carter
Well done for giving it the attention it deserves........I have watched 20 plus reactions to this tale now and its still great. Ren calls these tales....'Bardcore' a referrence to minstral/storytelling...
Really glad you caught on the "Regulators" vibe... when I heard it for the first time I went mad trying to decipher why it sounded so familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it... then I saw another reactor call out that song and I was so happy to get closure on that... and now you guys get to it too :)
Thank you for doing a 2.0, it is so amazing watching you catch so many pieces that you missed on the first play through, like you said, there is so much to take in from Ren's performance. It boggles my mind the sheer level of production and timing involved in walking the route this video takes, to hit all of the correct spots at the correct time, ensuring the right acoustics from the hallways and stairs IN JUST ONE TAKE ! if it was accomplished with edits, this would not be so impressive, but as it is live, this is one master level piece of work. Great job guys, I have just discovered your channel and you guys are fast becoming my favourite reactors !
Now I have to go back and edit my comment on your other Trilogy video. I was kinda hard on you (as were a bunch of people 😀 ) for the lack of attention paid to the story/lyrics, but I gotta give you guys a lot of respect for being willing to come back and give it another look. This one was great.... good job!
You are the first to notice the enema bag wasn’t an iv bag. It’s also a light stand not an iv stand. More cost effective than the real items. As stated in an interview with Sam and ren
Ren is a busker ( street performer) he is used to looking for the best acoustics available, it is an important part of the job . I think that accounts for his playing style as well because you need more volume on the street to get noticed .
Great to watch you guys go through this again. This is all just IMO....I would say his heavy guitar playing and strong plucking is to match the weight of the story. If he played delicately it wouldn't fit. And it's definitely not just 'his style' - he adapts method, technique, and vibe to everything he does. I believe everything he does is deliberate! The dude is a musical shape-shifter. And we are all blessed to witness it. Digging your reactions - respect to all 👍
This song was written in 2019. Violet'sTale takes place in two zero zero five (2005) and 14 years later a 14-year old Screech kills his twin sister Jenny in 2019.
The funny thing is I watched your 1st reaction to this. As I was watching you both nodding to the beat I knew you hadn't heard the words and understood the story. I'm glad you have gone back and listened again.
Cudos to you for revisiting this masterpiece and well and truly doing it justice! I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction here and the OMG how did I miss THAT! moments. 😆🤣😆
You're the ONLY reactors I have heard make the Warren G Regulators comparison! I have always thought the same thing and I can't believe how many people don't hear that. Especially hip hop people.
I didn't watch your first reaction because I saw in the comments you missed the twist. It's painful to watch people not get it. So I'm glad you revisited this!
Yes, he plucks the strings heavy on purpose. He’s self taught and weaponizes all aspects of the art. It’s awesome. (Guitar reactors have concluded this. Obviously I don’t know squat. Just watch tons of reactions.) Also, LOVE the “Adult-ish” t-shirt. The guy in the middle? Spot on throughout it all! 👌🏻
Just FYI, he has a lapel mic on him for vocals. The guitar has an internal pickup and you can see the cord plugged into the bottom of the body. Both mic and guitar are plugged into a wireless pack on his back under his clothes. I guitar and mic are recorded each on their own track. That way, in post, they can mix it down and bring up the guitar for, e.g. the tapping parts, and level out the vocal level as he turns his head etc. EDIT: just noticed you can see the wireless pack on his back clearly when he is being Stevie beating up Violet.
I do love it when you guys do a lap whenever something blows you away, great reaction i needed to hear it twice to appreciate it fully to. I knew well i thought i knew the ending but i wasnt sure then after the 2nd listen i watched reactions to be sure
it allways gets me that every video is live recorded and in 1 take only no cuts or edits ,the hi ren video was done with 4 cameras from different angles but 1 take ,stunning camera work locations and ren great reaction
Love the show, guys. My type of vibe. Great idea to revisit REN. Like any genuine art, his work benefits from repeated views. I've also started doing little jogs around the flat when confronted by emotions which defy verbalisation. Very therapeutic.
That was brilliant, maybe all reactors should do it twice! I reckon you picked up everything that time. I might have to go back and watch you missing everything the first time around though, you're normally so good at getting Ren! 🖤
I love seeing reactions to this one. It is hard to wrap your head around everything that is being done concurrently. Nobody else is doing this, probably because they can't.
So glad you guys get goosebumps like I do. Ren is something different!!!! So darn good. Great reaction. How Ren does panic Screech and transitions is the best ever. Angry Ren/Stevie is scary
Now that you have done your video on this song and can put it on your playlist I would suggest the live 369 version for you to watch for your enjoyment it has some bonus stuff and is totally worth it. 👍
Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues
Very enjoyable reactions, dudes!!! i really appreciate the enema easter egg! you guys are rockin' this channel! gotta love and appreciate ren, as always!!!!! love, kathleen - bts renegade
Ren has self identified his music as "Bardcore" and this was a three act Shakespearian Tragedy. The format is that of a bard telling a tale. A form of performance in music, acting and story telling that was the role of the wondering minstrel or bard; going right back through Shakespeare and all the way back through Greek Theatre performances of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, the Indian Mahabharata and through to the Sumerians' Epic of Gilgamesh; and probably long before this, to some stone age man twanging on his bow to woo the Chief's daughter or to protest the Chief stealing the meat from his hunt as taxes...
Im SOOOO glad you guys redid this video reaction- lol i was literally 😱 streaming at my tv to you guys the first time lol. You still missed the patterns of abuse and how Screech was just like his father and Jenny was silent and meek like Violet , if you notice Jenny never speaks either. The patterns of abuse. Great job guys ❤
His story telling ability is incredible Jennys tale was prompted by a newspaper story and people saying its such a shame then a few months later came Screeches tale but it was nearly 2 years later when Violets tale released and tied it all together into this masterpiece.

Patrick and Screech's girl WERE together... in the promo released for Screech's tale, ren posted a video... Screech had mugged someone and was recording his antics on the stolen phone... this shows his girl and Patrick together...
Also how he hisses when saying the devil comes to dance like when the devil takes over in Hi Ren
I'm SO GLAD you redid this song and with a new set of eyes! We finally got to see you reacting like all of us did at the end of Violet's Tale!
no one gets the whole story, and the details on the first watch.
1 - they knew it was the wrong bag, but had to work with what they had.
2 - similarly, it's a child's bed (what they had - tight budget). It was balanced on books, which you can actually see in a frame if paused right.
3- the foot of the bed has a whiteboard labeled "Violet"
4 - it was shot in his flat, made to look like a hospital.
5 - the 'Instagram stories' hint at Patrick & Screech's girl hooking up behind screech's back
6 - they also show Screech was being raised by an abusive father (or a father that could not handle screech's actions growing up, so turned to abuse as punishment). It made Screech desperate to score some $ & escape.
7 - Screech planned a robbery that went bad. He fled with a knife he took to get away, & fatefully ran into Jenny (the knife doesn't match the lyrics, but a bard would change details of a story to make the song more captivating. This is Bardcore 😉)
8 - an unsupported theory is that Richard was so close on hand because he had just been with a prostitute himself.
Ren's fans call this style Bardcore (like the bard Jaskier, The Witcher but in modern times) here's the origin story of the trilogy 🤩😁🤯
This wasn't originally a trilogy story.
Wow! Thanks for the back story. It makes the "it's such a shame" ending of the first two movements even more poignant.
I'd subscribe to Netflix again for that!
Fuck yes!!!
Like a musical one take Twilight Zone!!!!!
Hopefully someone has further blown your mind by pointing out that Jenny and Screech's tales came out in 2019. In Violets Tale, he says 'In London City 2005." So Violets Tale was set fourteen years prior.🤯 You're welcome. Lol He is so brilliant! 💜✨
That...That is wicked. Effectively Jenny and Screech were written as a "live" right now story. I agree, so brilliant.
He learned to play guitar via TH-cam
23:30 You what to know how purposeful Ren is? Check 20:28 Big man (no hate) talks about Ren's faces. It is not by accident he said something about Ren in that moment. Ren is portraying Violate waking up in the hospital not knowing where she is (in my opinion). 20:18
28:25 I also believe your friend is right here.
Love the 2.0 reaction gentlemen! Thank you for sharing!!
Great reaction guys!! This is my favorite work of art by Ren. It’s captivating, perfection and Ren is mesmerizing!! Thanks!
Enjoy!
Great you revisited it!
Now you've got (almost) full picture :) Great comments.
I'm so glad you revisited this, I wish other reactors who don't get it would be brave and honest enough to do the same. Love the banter too. Thanks guys.
Really glad you guys went back and did this again 2.0 Breathtaking piece of art. Awesome reaction. 🔥🔥🔥✌️
Great reaction, no harm in revisiting Ren's work, I never tire of listening to his music, he is so unique and soooo talented
Super proud of you to actually come back re-do this reaction.
Love music part 4 comes out Thursday. Don't think you have heard parts 1 thru 3 yet
Ren is self taught in guitar. Learned from watching videos. At least that's what I've read
I’m so glad you did it over again!!
The bonkers part is Patrick is at the girlfriends house, that's why he wasn't home and she wouldn't let Screech come over.
Im gonna do a lap for your reaction 😂 i love the laps... This trilogy is bloody brilliant storytelling, Ren is absolute genius with his writing
Love hearing that you did a lap!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone struggle to follow these songs so much lmfao
So glad you did this one again. It’s such a masterpiece!! 🔥🔥
✌️&❤️
My thoughts exactly. Makes sense
I thought the same. Also nobody get's help with social housing without there being a real problem going on that a person is in need of help with. It just show's an extra level to Ren's genius leaving little questions like this in because it's keeping it alive in ppl's minds even when the music stops playing.
This occurred to me, too. Could be why Stevie called Violet a slut.
its an intravenous saline bag
Great job with this round 2 reaction. For a really good classic but not well known story song, check out Bob Dylan’s “Joey” (about Crazy Joe Gallo) from his 1976 album Desire. Another great story song but we’ll known on the album is “Hurricane” about Rueben ‘Hurricane’ Carter
I've watched you a few times before, but subscribed today. I love that you are so amazed by Ren, because so am I. Great reaction!
Well done for giving it the attention it deserves........I have watched 20 plus reactions to this tale now and its still great.
Ren calls these tales....'Bardcore' a referrence to minstral/storytelling...
They actually had a hard time finding props. The bed is a child’s bed propped up on blocks.
Really glad you caught on the "Regulators" vibe... when I heard it for the first time I went mad trying to decipher why it sounded so familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it... then I saw another reactor call out that song and I was so happy to get closure on that... and now you guys get to it too :)
You doing this again is absolutely one of my favorite reactions, and now... subscribed😄✌️
you guys killed me with the "roll that beautiful bean footage" line. I worked on those commercials. 🤣
This one was great.... good job!
Great reation guys. You've got a new subscriber! An honest reaction and so funny at the same time. I love the laps around the couch. 😅
The guitar he plucks at in Screech's tale is a classical guitar with nylon strings. One plucks that hard.
This was such a great amazing decision to do it again. Thank you! ❤ And Greg was really on top everything. I loved it! 🔥
Love you guys❤ thanks for giving this one a second listen.
Thanks for doing it again!!! Great 2.0 reaction 😋😁
So happy you redid this to get the entire picture of it, like to have that, PLAY IT, and perform it so amazing
The funny thing is I watched your 1st reaction to this. As I was watching you both nodding to the beat I knew you hadn't heard the words and understood the story. I'm glad you have gone back and listened again.
Cudos to you for revisiting this masterpiece and well and truly doing it justice! I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction here and the OMG how did I miss THAT! moments. 😆🤣😆
Hey guys... Ren brought me to sub with you.... xx love it... from the UK!
I loved your do over. You guys really felt it. Thank you so much💕👍🦇
2 0 0 5. This came out in 2019. Screech was 14 years old.
This came out in 2021, Jenny and Screech tale came out 2019
You're the ONLY reactors I have heard make the Warren G Regulators comparison!
LOL The laps! love it. Great Reaction guys.
Thanks for watching!
Thought you deserved a second comment - Ren's layers are pronominal, it's no wonder we have to listen/watch him more than once 🙃
It was so good that you got so much more out of this watching it again . Loved it.
it allways gets me that every video is live recorded and in 1 take only no cuts or edits ,the hi ren video was done with 4 cameras from different angles but 1 take ,stunning camera work locations and ren great reaction
Its a modern classic. I know that is an often used quote but this one is actually that good & deserving of attention.
Love the show, guys. My type of vibe.
Great idea to revisit REN. Like any genuine art, his work benefits from repeated views.
I've also started doing little jogs around the flat when confronted by emotions which defy verbalisation.
Very therapeutic.
I am amazed every time how he uses the architecture/ acoustics for sound effects ❤
So glad you guys did that , think about a lot of the other great songs he’s done where you /we probably missed some genius Type references, great job
Probably the funniest reaction video to this trilogy. lol Y’all some good mates
So glad you did this again and properly listened. It’s so heartbreaking but so well done. Mad to think it’s loosely based on a true story 🖤
So glad you went back, amazing reaction..and shock factor 👏
So glad you guys get goosebumps like I do. Ren is something different!!!! So darn good. Great reaction. How Ren does panic Screech and transitions is the best ever. Angry Ren/Stevie is scary
Watching this again! Love your reactions together.
Love how you professed your love for storytelling while watching Ren's Tales and wearing a platform 9-3/4 shirt. 😉
I've heard this 💯 s of times and it still gives me chills. Thank everything that's holy and a couple things that aren't for, REN!
So happy you revisited this one….. props for that guys. Enjoy your reactions 🫶
Now that you have done your video on this song and can put it on your playlist I would suggest the live 369 version for you to watch for your enjoyment it has some bonus stuff and is totally worth it. 👍
Love that you did this again! Also just hit, after watching for the 20th time, that they were BOTH 14
I love how excited you were! That's how I felt telling people about it trying to get them to watch it! Loving #RenderedSpeechless too :D
Ren tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every country at this very moment and the cycle continues
Very enjoyable reactions, dudes!!! i really appreciate the enema easter egg! you guys are rockin' this channel! gotta love and appreciate ren, as always!!!!! love, kathleen - bts renegade
ngl, love the guy on the left, dno why, just a good vibe, first time in here, loved the reactions mate!
I really respect and appreciate that you gave this a second viewing
Im SOOOO glad you guys redid this video reaction- lol i was literally 😱 streaming at my tv to you guys the first time lol. You still missed the patterns of abuse and how Screech was just like his father and Jenny was silent and meek like Violet , if you notice Jenny never speaks either. The patterns of abuse. Great job guys ❤
Another great performance by Ren. These reaction videos are so entertaining watching others appreciate the artistry!
His story telling ability is incredible Jennys tale was prompted by a newspaper story and people saying its such a shame then a few months later came Screeches tale but it was nearly 2 years later when Violets tale released and tied it all together into this masterpiece.
