Dera Mr. Randy, please help. how to secure VBA properties not just with password but with some softs. Of course i understand it could be cracked but how to secure VBA as much as possible. I guess this info will be useful for people who create their own macros and do it for sale.

    Hey Randy.
I know this is more advanced but is there away to use shapes with a class module and a custom event.
    Public withevents MyShapes as sheet1.shapes
    Private sub MyShapes_Click
    Do something
    End sub
I don't know how to load the shapes into the class public withevents.
I know how to do with active x commands.
Plus how to do with userform commands.
Is there away to do with shapes.
I have many buttons and labels
Over 100 I can get them to work.
I like to use shapes if I can.
    Thanks.

Hi and thanks very much Dan. I have not needed to sue them with Class Modules, and also shapes do not work with userforms, only sheets.
What is your overall goal with the 100 shapes? What are you trying to do or create?

I created the game minesweeper and battleship in Excel and although I have it working with active x commands.
      On a worksheet.
I wanted to use shapes because they can be formatted a lot better than what you can do with the active x commands.
I tried using a collection for the shapes and an array like I did with the active x commands but it doesn't trigger the class module custom click event.

Hi and thanks. This is a bit out of my usual comfort zone however i know an expert on this who has done amazing things, just like this. Check out www.ExcelUnusual.com
His name is George Lungu and he has created many graphics and games in Excel
I hope this helps and thanks so much.
