Mild steel bends you racist invalid.. that is why we use it in situations where malleability is more favorable than brittle rigidity... A bad malleable steel is one that doesn't bend easy and cracks... Is conduit bad because it bends with hand tools? No you cannunt that is literally the point..

You never fail to amaze me Sir! If you could find a bearing to replace the stub of bar that pushes on the stock being bent, it would be easier to bend and less likely to pull the flat bar forward in the bender. Great, great job of bending flat bar! You are “THE MASTER”!

I bet you could drill the stub bar through, and mount it on a well-fitted (and greased) shaft instead of welding it, it would work like you said, and be easier to bend the flat iron, as well. Good idea you have there.

Instead of welding your semi circle bolt it in place and make it 360° instead of 180° that way you can make full circles great video!!
