In this episode of Breath of the Wild... Quin must have had some kind of psychotic break last episode, probably after his wife was stolen, because oh lord he’s going for the Master Trials. Does he not know? Clearly not; he just runs in, without even a moment of preparation. And the gods _hate_ that. Quin faces the elements head-on; both lightning and the undead try to kill him at once, and he remembers how his femur had been stolen on a previous run. He adapts. He improvises. He overcomes. To be met with a plethora of overpowered weaponry... what else awaits him in this hell? Well, hell. This is just hell. Lava, fire, chaotic and horrible monsters at every turn... all the boxes have been checked. There’s no way this challenge can be done. No way. Only if hell freezes over- Oh golly it did! And it’s _cold!_ So cold that not even his warm doublet can warm him. (The chill does seem to center on his back, but that isn’t of any importance.) He nearly gets one-shot by a pebble, which is absolutely terrifying. But, hey! He has plenty of ancient arrows. The only thing that could stop him are some... ... ...guardians... The gods are enraged with Quin. How dare he enter this trial without even a moment of thought? No final meal? Not even at his full health, not even in his prime... and he has the _audacity_ to survive this long?! To take calls, and casually mention how he has slaughtered every monster on his wake? What kind of a beast is this man... ...Ah, why not just spam enemies for the final trial? Every one of his vices; horseback bokoblins, a lynel, and (of course) a guardian. And that takes him out. hey quin you do know that the gorons do have actual hot springs that heal you when you sit in them and also hard boil eggs? they arn't telling you to go die in lava the gorons actually want you to visit the hot springs.
Your suffering is real. Real funny! Pretty sure I've failed at least once or twice on every trial of the sword, but you were very close! Tip: if you find any "hearty" foods, cook them by themselves one at a time, and each dish will fully heal you. There are nine ancient arrows you can find in the 3rd trial. Don't feel bad about looking up where they are, reading guides doesn't really matter on the Trials because you still have to be able to execute.
If you decide to do it again, prepare yourself with bigger health and stamina, more inventory space and maybe some dish effects before starting. Also, don't forget that just one bomb is enough to kill red bokoblins and take out the heads of skeleton enemies The other tips for today are: -keep the ancient arrow to the lynels and the guardian at room 23 -if you give up on trying to end this honestly, search how to skip everything by clipping through walls (search how to do it and what to do after clipping through the wall)
