And PTSD because of things relating to the Master Sword that have no reason to be named. We really thought the time travel would cure that trauma, eh? The lore of the forest is that back in ocarina of time there was a race of small people called the kokiri and they were protected by the great decu tree but by the time of BOTW the people and evolved into the Koroks. Also all children who went in there became Skull kids and all adults became Stalfos
The lost forest used to be Kokri forest but when the deku tree died the Kokri children went in to hiding and the great deku tree had a baby. Slowly the forest started to over grow and the Kokri turned back in to their original form as the Koroks and now save lost travelers from getting lost in the forest that is the lore

Wind bomb tutorial: 1. Find an edge, it doesn’t have to be much of one, but telling what works and what doesn’t just comes with time. For now, cryonis blocks work great. 2. Block and walk right to the edge, some objects have fall protection when shielding, others don’t. Cryonis blocks do and make perfect practice edges for this reason. 3. Jump off the edge and immediately drop the square bomb and immediately after, pull out the bow. 4. Once about a 1/4 to a 1/3 of the way through a stamina ring, place the round bomb. Height and speed depend on how you time it. 5. Switch back to the first bomb and detonate. If done correct, you’ll be sent flying. Note: you can switch the order of the bombs if you want, the other order actually has a more generous timing window. However you can only do that one directly north, south, east or west.
lost woods were created to defend the great deku tree and his people, in some games forest people are kokiris (children of the forest that you will find in for example ocarina of time and and koroks in some other games like botw. you will learn about their connection in wind waker).

When I did the beginning trials, room 10 was a big road block for me, probably the hardest part of the trials, the rest of the trials should be a lot easier, and I would also recommend to use bombs to kill the blue bokoblins, since the bombs deal 24 damage once upgraded. I would also use a level 3 defense or attack buff that lasts 30 minutes, which can be made with 4 ironshrooms and any dragon horn for defense, and 4 mighty bananas with any dragon horn for attack.

Yeah, the beginning trials suck, but hey, now that you mastered Wind Bombing, look into wall clipping, and of you use it in the Trial of the Sword, you will see something magical.
So about Lost Woods.. that’s enough about lost Woods. No but seriously we don’t really know much about the Lost woods of breath of the wild. We do know that the Deku tree is like super old though, possibly tens or hundreds of thousands years old. Maybe even more, he could also just be only a couple hundreds years old. We don’t really know though he is really old. That’s about the only interesting that we know and isn’t just total speculation
In Ocarina of Time, I think the Kokiri said that if you go into the Lost Woods and lose your way, you turn into a Skull Kid. Maybe the trees with faces are people who got lost and turned into trees/Skull Kids? In OoT, the Kokiri (Koroks) can be in the Lost Woods whenever, so I doubt that the scary trees in BotW are Koroks that got lost.
Quin, just so you know, in the starting master sword trails, all you have to do is climb a tree and throw bombs, you don't have to but it's the quickest way I found to do it and you lose no durability
On the first floor of trial sword try to use the fire from the campfire to burn the grass and make the bobokoblins die burned, use the spear, it is much easier. Lucky
Hey so what you need to do to be able to even manage the first trials of the sword, is a 30-minute potion of attack buff, so like 4 mighty bananas and 1 monster extract, just reload saves to get it because it's chance-based, eat it before hand and the effect carries over. The other thing is upgraded bombs, lots and lots of bombs are the key but they need to do damage so upgrade that rune. that's kinda it the rest is pure gamer skill
You should farm up a bunch of Ancient and Guardian shields and do a big bunch of shield surfing down a bunch of paths, just for fun. Also, did you know that if you leave meat out on the ground in cold areas, you get frozen food that reduces your heat exposure?
if you eat something with an effect before you start the sword trail you well keep the effect so make a defense up 3 but add a dragon horn shard to the recipe so the effect stays with you for 30 minutes

for the sword trials i would recomend getting the bomb+ upgrade and use that before you have strong weapons.

A good way to save your weapons is using your bombs whenever possible for the master trials, but I recommend upgrading your bombs first
