@@steven97ful This particular version was composed back in the 90s and only used in certain promo material during all this time. Not only that, but they've consistently been avoiding pre-2012 music in the anime for years until the Arceus Special re-introduced some old tracks. This was the first regular episode to include old music for almost a decade. That's why it was huge when they used it in an actual episode.
i know Ash Greninja and Type Wild are great themes but you know when Ash is going all out when you hear Mezase Pokemon Master

Honestly, Satoshi Vs Steven was a bit underwhelming.
I expected this to appear during Satosh Vs Cythia.
Not gonna lie, I was extremely hyped when this played while watching the episode. But after I sat down and thought about it for a bit, I had the same feeling. If they did the original JP opening so early, what are they going to do next? This song kind of symbolizes Ash's dream to be a Pokémon master, so why play it so early? I don't think they can top this musical moment in any battle after this. Also, if they bring back Type Wild for either the Cynthia or Leon fight, I feel it would seem like a rehash of Sun and Moon to many fans.

cuz I always thought if ash reaches the final it would be like this:
1- vs steven : gmax gengar as a final showdown cuz you know gengar is ghost/poison vs metagross psychic/steel it would a good match up for both
2- vs cynthia mega lucario with bond phenomena, cuz he'll need at least that to beat her garchamp and also cuz pikatchu vs garchamp is bad match up
3- vs leon his oldest partner pikatchu with ost mezase doing z move it would be super affective against charizard....it almost one-hit ko'd mega metagross and it doesn't even have weakness to electric
that's how I imagined to would be go down
but after that match I thought....pikatchu wouldn't hold on long enough to use z move against that broken charizard....as of now ash's strongest pokemon is lucario with mega evo and bond phenomena
while 10 mil volt thunderbolt is the strongest move in ash's arsenal...it's not the optimal cuz it's a one hit thing if ash were to use it it would against steven cuz it's 3v3 unlike 6v6 where you need to think way ahead
we'll probably never see gmax gengar in this tournament cuz I think vs cynthia we gonna see mega lucario vs mega garchump as the final showdown, and ash will win probably, and vs leon he'll have to use mega lucario also cuz like I said it's his strongest....unless ash's uses gmax gengar vs cynthia early on and gets rekt which is why we see ash sweating in the pv...
@@johnhakim7037 I was thinking the same, Ash should've used Gengar as his main Pokemon in the Steven fight. As for Cynthia, I thought it was underwhelming how we didn't get to see Mega Lucario vs Mega Garchomp, but I do think Mega Lucario vs Mega Togekiss was pretty good. It's just not as good as the way I'd imagine Mega Lucario vs Mega Garchomp would be.

What is the different between this version and the released version from the soundtrack of movie 20?
Presumably recorded with the OS orchestra and features a slightly different arrangement, most notably in the trumpets and violins

Percussions are a bit on the electronic side and the electric bass is a bit more pronounced
