what's a a good starter kit introduction into mutable instruments?? I'm barely getting into modular and Ive always been super interested in their stuff!
Depending on what you want to do with the system it would vary. If you contact us here: www.perfectcircuit.com/contact-us We can connect you with one of our product specialist that could help you put together a system.
Curious about using Optomix as the output module. Is that a common use you’d recommend? Or just something for the sake of the demo? All these patches rule btw.
You can use it as an output module if you like! The unity output is very handy for using the Optomix as a 3 channel mixer, but as always, watch your levels coming out of eurorack gear, they can be hot !
@@wordsoundpoweri8149 Was not aware Ears could accept phone audio on the input. Does that mean it can accept a balanced/and or unbalanced cable from phone? Assuming it would change phone audio to mono from Ears output.
It’s likely just grabbing the left channel and shorting the right to ground. Ears has a VCA and Envelope function in addition to a contact microphone. It’s a cool bit of kit for not a lot of $$$ or HP and is a cool companion for string resonator devices like Rings etc.
Not a complaint, but my biggest issue with eurorack is that there are so many combinations that unless you buy everything used in a given video, you never know how it may sound with your stuff....Does VCVrack have all the mutable stuff?
Isn't that kind of the point of Eurorack? To combine things in unexpected ways to get brand new sounds and unexpected results? I see it as a positive, not a negative.
Long hair guy has some magnificent patches
Schrrute patching is the best patching. It cannot be beet.

Awesome demo! Love the duo review mooar plz 😁🙌🏽
Thanks!
What is this little eurorack box you use? Just want to avoid the rabbit hole!
Those are 4ms Pod cases, they are great for putting together small systems, here is a link: www.perfectcircuit.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=4ms%20pod
I know I’m an old irrelevant git, but do young people really like moustaches?
Am I the only one that noticed Jacob covering Oscar See Through Red Eye by Boards of Canada?.

Wow great!
So does Ears has usb input?
Big thanks
No usb input on Ears. They’re running audio out of apple headphone adapter into Ears, into Rings, into Beads.
@@wordsoundpoweri8149 Exactly what we did. The Ears has a lot of gain to bring the phone audio up to eurorack level.

@@mookah2696 Ears is mono so we plugged a regular mono unbalanced eurorack patch cable into the phone's headphone adaptor.
May I ask what case that is?

VCV rack has most of the mutable stuff, and they’re free 😮

you have to abstract out the functionality from demos and imagine how it would fit in your own system.
Is this demo in mono? What the hell? Thumb down
