    Security,wearing orange vests,had to surround chewbaca actor Peter Mayhew,so that hunters wouldn't mistake him for bigfoot

    In order to keep the filming of Jedi a secret, all the crew were given T-shirts that read 'Blue Harvest: Horror Beyond Imagination', a fake movie title. Also, if anyone asked the crew about filming, they were instructed to say that Jedi was being filmed in Germany.

    The Endor forest is actually the Redwood National Park in Northern California.

      @greggybada 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      false... george lucas saw the forest moon of endor from the windows of his ship while traveling to tatooine to shoot star wars... he thought it would be cool to create an actual deathstar instead of creating a miniature model for the episode 6, so the ships could actually go inside the deathstar to blow it up for the final battle...

    Yay! Another Star Wars video! I didn't know that it was going to be called Revenge of the Jedi. And cheese casserole for the wet sounds? That's gross.

    I don't know if it would make much sense for Luke to suddenly go dark. There would have to be more build up to that.

    • @FunFactFilms

      Ya that’s what I thought too.

      Only way that would have made a little bit sense would be if after defeating Vader, Luke would NOT have his moment of clearence and throw his saber away, but instead embraces the feeling of his new found power giving into his hate and turns to the emperor to fight him as well. He even is giving the emperor a hard time defending himself, but then Palpatine gets the upper hand and almost kills Luke. Thats when Vader sacrifices himself as we saw it, killing the emperor in the process but still dies. And the mix of dark power and rage about the loss of his father is what keeps Luke on the dark side so he becomes "new Vader" after his dad passes.
      But still..... i absolutely prefer the very happy ending.
      And thank god they did not make any sequels after that, wich could have destroyed everything that ROTJ accomplished. Could you imagine, if after Episode 6, somehow, Palpatine would return?

    I think version which best version unlike special edition where they added cgi visuals Vader saying no and change Luke’s master from puppet to cgi character was bad idea are other fact personally I think original version we saw in theaters was best version.

    I had read that Gary Kurtz wanted the darker ending and Lucas wanted the hopeful one.

    If George wanted a happy ending for the heroes, why would Luke become the next Darth Vader? That just confused me

    • @FunFactFilms
      @FunFactFilms  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      To help clarify, those last two facts weren’t in chronological order. The ending was discussed first way back in the early phases of post-production.
