haha thank you so much for the kind words, im more than happy to know you dig what i do! as far as a "collaboration" between me and HFM would go, i unfortunately have to tell you that it's not realistically ever going to happen. the reason for that is the fact that HFM pretty much dislikes this whole concept of "barber beats" and always pokes fun at it, due to the fact that he believes everyone is "ripping him off" lol. i respect the dude's work (hence why i do what i do), but he very much has some ego issues he has to deal with. it's quite a shame, because i always wanted him to be part of this whole thing and to contribute/collaborate, but that's not the case. either way though, much love for all the support, i genuinely appreciate it

I see a lot of comments around here that lead me to believe you folks don't realize that these are compilation albums of songs produced by other artists. Macroblank is basically "Now That's What I Call Music" for the funky internet jazz era.
My thoughts excellent. Wonderful compilations, but... comparing to Nujabes and others who composed their own tracks that used samples in their work... is wild.
Been vibing a lot to all of the music you've made. Reminds me of times when Adult Swim would have those bumper segments during commercial breaks and I'd be trying to find out what song was playing because it was so good. I felt that vibe listening to your stuff if that makes sense lol

What you should really ask is who influenced Macroblank? Look deep enough and sometimes things come through, but like the best of artists- I bet they love a wide variety and are music lovers in general.
