I know the multiplayer is clunky and needs update and patch work but the Gears 2 campaign/story is my favorite out of the original trilogy. It’s so much fun and so much crazy shit goes down. “They’re sinking cities with a GIANT WORM!”

The real gore and the music alone is better than all the other Gears

Marcus “Ahhhh” is so intense and funny at the same time. God I love Gears of War. My friends used to make fun of me for being a hardcore Gear head. Told them to eat shit and that it actually takes skill to get good at Gears multiplayer
I hopped on this game for about two hours the other night and played guardian for the first time in about a year and I had a blast. Gears 2 is goated man

I had to stay with the leader and plant smoke grenades on the wall!😂 that was my job. It was bad but I still played and eventually I got good at GOW3 guardian but GOW2 I was shit. But i still gotta love for that game.

I hopped on gears 2 not too long ago and I swear they switch the game play of it or something. It was definitely not what I remembered at all. That or i just got too used to 3, 4 or 5. Either way, gears 4 has the best game play in my opinion.
Like you, I'll play gow2 maybe a handful of times a year and that grizzly guy is always in the games I play haha the guy must love depression
