It’ll be cool to see games about the locust leaders. Ukkon, Sraak, Raam, Skorge and Queen Myyrah.. Playing from their point of view up until their failure to save their horde.
If we are blessed with a Gears game where you play as the Locust, here’s what I can see: Player 1: Raam Player 2: Skorge Player 3: Jermad Player 4: Karn And they could have their own unique abilities and stuff like in Horde Like, for example, Karn can summon the Shivaleth to scorch an area or Raam can use the Kryll like he does in the Raam’s Shadow DLC
I hope "Gears Of War: E-Day," gives Ukkon a bigger spotlight and cements into canon his contributions to the Locust Horde. I hope we see his previous creations, (and hopefully some new ones) in "E-Day."
So of all the named Locusts from the Rise of Raam comic, we still don't know the fates of High Priest Vrol or Jermaad. Would love to see their fates revealed in a game as opposed to a book or comic.
I never liked the origin story for the Locust. Like why do they need to be mutated humans? I think it would have been way cooler and creepier if they were just another species entirely maybe they’re related to humans by evolution but it would have been cool if they were just always down there and had a whole history to them.
@Orion Circinus I know but that just feels like kind of boring for them and it makes a weird plot hole. On a grand time table they haven’t been down there for very long. Yet they have cities, a language, their own weapons and vehicles, a religion and a entire system of government. The numbers alone don’t make sense like considering how difficult their reproduction sounds to carry out there’s no way that they would have the numbers to build all their stuff. Then fight the lambent and the entire surface population at the same time. It just seems like they missed a opportunity to make these guys a terrifying mystery race that’s been messing with humanity secretly forever.
Originally they partially were. Locust are created by merging human DNA with Locust DNA creating hybrids. In the original series it was implied we made some, but not all of them. It was stated they had an extensive history that went back thousands of years. They chart the rise and fall of immulsion like the seasons. Each rise bringing a collapse of their civilization. Then Rob Fergusson changed the lore making it insanely illogical. Like making a queen and a few high ranking super locust that lead the remnants of a broken civilization makes sense. Making millions of locust does not.
WELL if I can't tell you how many times Reyna was playing like trash in the boss fight she was missing 60 to 70% chance of landing a shoot multiple times. Also Dias was doing that
I thought ukkon should've been more intimidating. Really cool concept and I think he's an interesting character, but wasted. Considering he was a leader and a scientist he should've been more important and more tactical instead of going in with a few guards. He could've been leading locust squads like the other generals commanding ambushes, leading beasts, etc. It'd be cool if he wasn't stupid for the sake of the plot.
Everyone hears Sid's story and goes OMG Retcon!!! Me: you're all idiots!!! Sid's story is his interpretation of the events at the New Hope Research Facility from Gears 2 and 5. Sid's actually mentioned in a Gears 5 collectible!!! Very first one you find as soon as you get into New Hope. It was a letter Sid sent trying to blow the whistle on New Hope and Niles. It got intercepted and he got fired for it.
Ukkon was different: Myrrah was immune to and benefited from Imulson. Ukkon was still sick with it but also had regenerative powers from it. Imulson effected them in different ways.
@@MrGreen-qr5pe The first Gears was years after E-Day, because the hammers were already an old event by the first game. And yeah, most of them are death or died between Gears 3 and 4. For example, Gabe died of Rustlung after V-Day.
This was such a good game until they introduced the painful, cringe-inducing Marie Sue because she is in the timeline. Result: Rob Fergusson was fired by Microsoft.
Sraak got killed, Uzil RAAM Become General, Keteor Skorge is High-Priest, Ukkon is Locust Geneticist, Krav Jermad is a high ranking individual and Karn is the military tactician
I love that they brought back the dark aspect, almost like horror vibe from the 1st Gears of War
Just Some Guy without a Mustache and gears 2
No it doesn’t. All ‘gears’ games are utter trash
It’ll be cool to see games about the locust leaders. Ukkon, Sraak, Raam, Skorge and Queen Myyrah.. Playing from their point of view up until their failure to save their horde.
@Ewan Callister sraak just sayin 👐
Don’t forget Jermad, he could be the 2nd or 3rd player in coop.
I have ukkon, kantus skin, queen reyna, srakk, skorge skin, and raam on gears 5
Imma just add ketor vrol into the mix too

Quick someone call the DoomSlayer, there's a Hell Priest on the loose.
💀
I was hoping to see how he actually created his monsters!
He is a sire for what I understand, so I guess he started from there and then modified the rest to become locusts
There was the Rise of RAAM comic.
I hope "Gears Of War: E-Day," gives Ukkon a bigger spotlight and cements into canon his contributions to the Locust Horde. I hope we see his previous creations, (and hopefully some new ones) in "E-Day."
I hope so too my friend im so excited for e day

That’s what I always thought when I first played gears 2 when I was a kid not human but an entirely different creature…
I thought the locust were the result of fish instead of walking on land, deciding to start digging underground
It would be dope if they made a third person shooter version of this game
Definitely but hey we’re dealt cards
I have noticed that since Ukkon is the first and probably only successful sire how much in between human and locust he looks like
And that's how Kait Diaz was created! Kids
How so?
I’m about half way done with act 1 and I have to say that this is probably my favorite pc game.
The guards of a scientist elite locust were two common drones ._.
I don't get it, in the first scene he had two therons escorting him. So why downgrade to drones later?
WELL if I can't tell you how many times Reyna was playing like trash in the boss fight she was missing 60 to 70% chance of landing a shoot multiple times. Also Dias was doing that
Gabe is what JD should've been like in the tomorrow trailer and e3 gameplay reveal trailer he looked so worthy, they dropped the ball wit him
Gears of war Sraak Raam Skorge Karn Ukkon generals of the locust

Look up his concept art. He's shown doing just that, commanding an army with Brujacks and Corpsers.
Ukkon huffed Imulsion and the trio met his pet
2:59 When you look at your covid 19 test results.
I wonder if they will put ukkon in gears 5
That would be sick I would love to play as him
@@ShinyPalaceBoi3978 They put RAAM's predecessor, so maybe.
Well he is now as of operation 7.
Dude needs some moisturizer
right?
I loved the part where they started using finger guns at 7:40

Another video this is going to be awsome
So this is the guy behind the thicc brumak trex..
Looks like he belongs in doom :)
He’s a awesome character also explains why the locust had such powerful animal weaponry
This should be the third person game they make in the original Gears form. This story would be better.
Hold the fuck up I was not expecting reyna and oscar to be in this they look so different from gears 4.
Age does that to you
Pretty sure this takes place in the beginning of the human locust war
wish they'd make a gears of war on the locust side, how humanity would be if they actually succeed and all the back stories etc.
A locust game on destroying COG settlements all the whole fighting off the lambent plague? Sick
“We’re dying and not have so much choices,Peace will eventually turn into animosity Finally this is the best solution” - Queen mryrahh
The Ukkon Brigade huffed Imulsion as combat stimulant and the intelligent mutant was a mad scientist
They should make a new gears game way before gears 1
This aged well
How come the queen didn’t get none of that green smoke drug ?
She doesn't have rust-lung. Ukkon uses the drug to heal himself
Ukkon was different: Myrrah was immune to and benefited from Imulson. Ukkon was still sick with it but also had regenerative powers from it. Imulson effected them in different ways.
9:17 heh that’s some lore
Cool
Does this story take place after GOW1 or before? Or what?
It’s takes place 12 years before gears of war 1 your welcome
@@thelvadam7774 dang before the 1st one? So basically everyone from this game is dead

Wasted potential. But most villians are these days. Sad

Why censored that shit
Christ, how many Locust generals are there?
I don't think Ukkon was a general he was scientist I wanna say but for locust
Uzil is the rank of general
Ukkon is a scientist and helps to make soldiers
Sraak got killed, Uzil RAAM Become General, Keteor Skorge is High-Priest, Ukkon is Locust Geneticist, Krav Jermad is a high ranking individual and Karn is the military tactician
Are they not allowed to have multiple generals?
