The amount of control you have with the 86 is incredible! Do an initial d and battle other faster cars, it would be amazing to see you push the 86 in a race.

here's the setup acstuff.ru/s/OCiw for the sliding, you are mostly correct, most of it is initiated by the foot brake, but in some of the trickier parts where the speed is lower or the car is in a low rpm i'll use the handbrake to assist in stepping out the rear. and thanks for the compliment

How much did the setup cost you in total? Including the pc, the headset, the wheel and pedals? Debating over if I should get a setup like this or just buy a real cheap RWD car and learn that way.
hi, sorry for the late reply. my current PC build was around $5,000 back in early 2022, the sim rig i'm running is ~$2,000 in total. My parts are pretty excessive though tbh. A high end or complicated rig is not required for speed or having fun at all, as 99% of the videos uploaded on my channel were runs done on my old PC with my crusty g920 which was quite literally falling apart lol. if youre on a budget but can afford both id suggest putting the most of your money into the cheap rwd car, and the rest into second hand logitech gear.
CitizenFoffie maybe if we were in an awd, haha. But we are in the 86, doing so would ruin the balance of the 4 wheel slide. Its basically on the knife’s edge, and to keep it there delicate throttle control is a must. Full throttling it in a car like this would cause excess oversteer if we were high in revs, or catastrophic understeer if we were low in revs.
