I'm a native of Baguio. If you guys are not choosy, you can just rent an apartment that is NOT near downtown. There are lot of nice and better apartments that are cheap yet looks clean. Do not rent for condos near the city center as they are really pricey.
Go search for an apartment away from the city because it's where you can see a beautiful mountain views and freah air.
Anyway you guys have a car so it's still convenient if you want to go buy something.
Living near the city center is good, but not advisable.
Look for the Korean community in Baguio. There is a church where there are many Koreans. You can probably inquire about house rental from them.
Go outside the city of Baguio. The chances of rental houses outside the city is more than inside the city.
If I'm not mistaken, Baguio is part of the top 5 places in the PH with a big korean community. So try asking them for help finding a house to rent with a cheaper price.
Correct their is also a Korean community there or maybe Search for Korean Bloggers just been in the City or Places you are visiting
You said it right. Baguio is korean haven. They stayed here because of the weather, studying english and then made it their home. Actually USI (union international school) where my son studied during his elementary have lots of korean students. Lots of international school in baguio, wherein you can find koreans, they're present even those University schools.
WELCOME TO BAGUIO!
my dad is the first generation Korean missionary in the Cordilleras. and i am the first korean-filipino architect from baguio. yeyyy
his friend started the school KCP in the nearby town.
Woodnymph and Hodori, along with Korean Palace, are the one of the first korean restaurant korean businessmen as well.
I always wanted to see baguio in Korean TV, as it was the top destination for many Koreans before Clark and Cebu.
But most of all, it is also because our climate and manners are very similar to Korea and Japan.
:) enjoy your stay.
You could say that the Cordilleras is like the Hongcheon of the Philippines.
Please include the Culinary School started by a Korean Chef, who studied at Le Cordon Bleu, AU
Korean-Philippines Culinary Academy (KPHCA)
Our Chef will be delighted to meet his fellow Koreans here at Baguio City
sadly, the founder of KCP passed away on January this year
omgggg woodnymph?? we must try there sometimeee
10:12 One of the major problems of Baguio is the heavy traffic. The roads aren't wide and there's plenty of car due to insufficient public transportation.
When going out in Baguio, especially the downtown or center, it's better to use taxis. Baguio taxis are known to charge fair. They don't hike up prices compared to Manila or tourist centered places like Cebu or Bohol.
Mama has a talent ,i feels like watching a korean travel variety show.. just amazing. 😲💗
😅 When I watched the vlog you uploaded yesterday, I wanted to comment “don’t bring car when visiting the city center”… it’s almost impossible to find a parking lot.
Baguio City is a walkable place. Take your time to get used to it first though. The air is thinner because it’s a higher altitude so most local tourist feel muscle and lung burns when they walk the hilly parts of the area without giving their body at least 24-48 hours to adjust.
Be mindful of color coding when going through the city, they will fine you (although I’m not so sure if the city still implements this) if you are not supposed to drive through the city on that day of the week.
Take time to learn the jeepney routes. Take jeep to the city, take taxi home when done shopping. Use car when you guys are exploring outside the city- like Tam-awan village or a fun day at Camp John Hay.
There is a huge Korean community in Baguio. Ask them for some tips on how to acclimate or navigate the area.
I have a feeling watching your vlogs is going to make me miss my beloved Kafagway (the native name of Baguio)… i will look forward to watching more!
Hope you find your rental place soon! ❤
Even taxi is difficult to get in some areas there.... that's why when we go there, we most of the time bring our car but your right parking is soooo difficult. Market place is so good to visit with lots of lots of fresh fruits and vegetables but the up and down road tires me most, nevertheless, visiting Baguio is always a special memory.
Where you parked to eat donuts is just 7 mins. walk to SM. Try asking from people as well, Baguio people are happy to help😊❤
Baguio resident here,we have a transient house here near teacher's camp costs 450-500 per person a night. It's not that cold right now at 17 degrees, the cold months are Dec to February.
As Filipino who worked abroad. I really want to experience Baguio so badly. It's my dream place to visit in our country. Hopefully, 🔜 enjoy guys. Loving your videos and stay safe always❤😊
If you're just going to the city center, you don't need to bring your car. People in baguio usually walk or take the public transportation.
If you are going to tourist spot, yes you can bring your car.
you should also visit other parts of benguet like tourist destinations in atok/sayangan, for a colder experience and beautiful sunset and sunrise, experience looking at the milky way if you could stay up late😉, don't limit your visit in Baguio only🫣😁
It would be helpful if you get in touch with the Korean community there in Baguio. They might be able to help you with your house hunting and suggest some good places to stay that are not over-priced.
Parking Hacks
-SM has 2 entrances - front is open by 9am, back is open by 10am.
-Tuesday-Thursday 3pm is golden hour with less traffic. Avoid Friday-Sun in the city center and tourist spots.
-Burnham park has parking as well.
-Please try Cordilleran Food. Like Farmer's Daughter-
Chicken Pinikpikan is like Samgyetang.
For Housing:
-Transient in the sides of Baguio will be more affordable as it's priced per head. And since you have a car, it is more budget friendly, as the city center is more expensive, just like Seoul. Session Road is like Baguio's Myeongdong.
I’m from PHILLIPINES Baguio is my dream place !I appreciate the weather no air conditioner nice and cool fresh vegetable and strawberries capital in Baguio! Thanks for your vlog 🫶🏼🙏🏼
Theres Korean communities in Baguio. Just go to Korean stores and make friends, maybe they can help you guys look for a good house. 🥰
There are so many Koreans living & Studying there in Baguio. You can be in-touch with them, ask them where you can find Homes in Baguio
Hello! Welcome to Baguio, The city of Pines and Summer Capital of the PH!
Few tips:
1. I would advice looking for a house outside the city, cost-wise its way more expensive around business area.
2. Traffic is always a problem of the city because of lots of tourists visiting almost everyday. I suggest to park near city center. It's a city that encourages you to walk around to appreciate most of it. Eventually you will adapt as we locals say... ""JUST WALKING DISTANCE".
3. The weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) are the most crowded days, so manage your time wisely during these days or get stuck in traffic.
4. Just like I commented on the previous vlog, there's a large Korean community which is very well integrated in the city. Get it touch with them for assistance to settle-in and adapt the Baguio lifestyle without any major issues.
Thank you for choosing my home Baguio as your new home, surely you won't regret it!
Im glad you’re liking Baguio. It is a beautiful place. I love watching your videos because you are so appreciative of our country. The kids are very polite and your family is so close and it’s really great to see how you care for one another! More power to your channel and enjoy Luzon! May Baguio bring you a lot of happiness and beautiful memories!
Good luck to your family! I hope you find your place.👍🏼❤️
I believe the average rent in Baguio for 3BR is ₱23,000, so 40k to 50k is already too expensive. They should try to continue their search for a house in Green Valley, it is a nice place near the highway, making it easy to access other places!
23k monthly rent is already in the outskirt of city center but its wide and spacious. 40k is the normal rent in downtown and that's only a condo with 1 bedroom. 40-50sqm.
Two bedrooms were over 30,000 pesos and condos were over 50,000 pesos. So we were worried because it was too expensive than our budget. But the weather in Baguio made us happy.💜💜💜
@@hellophilippines513there are 20k-25k / month in Baguio 3bedrooms . Keep looking for it !. GOD bless you and enjoy !!!.
Try looking for a cheaper place to leave.
Most rentals are short stays and long terms are bedspaces for students. I would have loved to offer my family house but it’s currently full. 🤭
Koreans makes the Baguio City more beautiful....😊❤ thank you very much....
OA😂
What are you saying? 😂😂😂
11달 부터 2월 까지는 재일 추워요 한국 봄 날씨 처럼. By the way i'm Pinay mom in South Korea 😊
Your video brings back memories of Baguio. My parents are from there. I'm born and raised in the U.S and haven't been back since 2007. Waching your video shows how much Baguio has changed since the last time I was there. Thank you for sharing.
Baguio City was very special to our family. My family left Baguio, but we are happy living in the Philippines.💜💜💜

Baguio is designed by the Americans. In the middle of the Baguio is and US American Base Facility for recreation name Camp John Hay is now one of the five star hotel and resort.

There are so many Vegetables at the Market try some and STRAWBERRIES TOO🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
Bakit pati ako naa amaze kahit taga Baguio naman ako 🫢🫰
Lot of cars and traffic is so bad in Baguio specially in Summer, Holidays, Holy week, February flower festival, You should also try eating at Good Taste Restaurant. Try their buttered chicken, egg drop soup or bird's nest soup, beef with broccoli, chopsuey (it's a vegetable dish).
May seminar kami dati sa baguio, buti nabasa ko to nakalimutan ko kasi kung saan kami dinala nung taga transient house haha, Good taste restaurant pala yun, i love the beef with broccoli ❤ nakakamiss 🤤, and infairness marami cla mag serve di ko naubos😅 sana ma try din nila kumain dun 😊
It’s beautiful in Baguio. You look happy in Baguio and the environment is very different from other places in the Philippines 😊 Enjoy your stay and be safe always ❤
Hello! I’m from Baguio. The best place to find a house or apartment for rent is in Camp 7 area. Price range are from 20k pesos - 45k pesos. I hope you can find one soon. More power!
😊HELLO PHILIPPINES 😊!!!ALWAYS WATCHING HERE IN DUBAI 😊
Sorry to spam the comment section, I'm excited that you're in my hometown (even though I'm not staying their now). It's summer now so many tourists are in Baguio so many car and traffic. Taxi is convenient but it is very hard to get one when it is raining. Do not look for condos because they don't rent it for long term, only for few days. Don't be dismayed when you can't find a house immediately because rentals in Baguio are in-demand.
Yes I'm happy to watch your vlogs
The way to go around Baguio City is for you to leave your car in your rented house and just take the taxi. Taxi in Baguio is much cheaper compared in Manila area.
*Koreans say they love Baguio because the weather is like spring in Korea.*
Right now it’s colder in Baguio than in Seoul
@@newone8180natural summer na dun ngaun.

after Baguio go to Sagada and banawe rice terraces.
I lived in baguio for 5 years during my university days. I came back after more than 20 yrs and things are different now. It's over populated, the pollution in downtown is Wow superb! But Still the country side is still beautiful.❤️
theres a lot of koreans living in baguio because of its weather they even have a korean community there
Baguio has a great music scene and many local Filipino bands started there. They have live music performed in certain bars and audiences at times sing along.
Annyeonghaseyo welcome here in Baguio City
I'm happy That You Came
If you miss korean food
I recommend you Bonchon at Sm
Have A Good Day 🤗💝^^
Your family is pretty brave for moving from Dumaguete to Baguio with no place to "call home."
Hello welcome to Baguio Philippines 😊❤Pinay mom here living in Busan south Korea enjoy your vacation 😊

Rental in Baguio with 3 bedrooms with all the amenities ranges from 18k to 23k .if someone offered you 30k above thats too way expensive look online or ask the guards they sometimes honest
There's a lot of korean who lives in Baguio as well. I suggest you to stroll around during at night, the city lights are calming. Tho, still be careful.
Love Baguio ❤❤ Went to school there. It was a lot colder then, a lot more pine trees and not so much traffic. We used to go jogging with friends from Session Rd all the way to Mines View Park almost every weekend. Enjoyed playing badminton and riding the bicycles at Burnham Park. Still miss the place. Enjoy your stay in Baguio 🥰🥰
Why is your family adventure, and every upload of yours addictive to watch? Always waiting for your uploads. 📺👪❤️
Baguio has it's own vibes that one could always feel happy and relax! A cup of coffee on a cold morning in Baguio is one of the things that I really enjoy doing whenever I visit the place. I'm so glad that your family got to experience Baguio too. ! :)
We love the summer heat in the Philippines. There are four seasons in Korea, with a very short summer and a long winter. So I always missed the hot weather in the Philippines. The weather in Baguio is like spring and fall in Korea. The weather in Baguio in the Philippines was special to us. It's so amazing! 💜💜💜
@@hellophilippines513Baguio has a sweet strawberry 🍓 !. Try to visits strawberry farm.
Always excited to watch you videos❤. Enjoy your stay at baguio . We love you❤
Glad you visited Baguio, maybe you can find time to insert Atok, Benguet to your itenerary😊. Enjoy your tour!
Advice when you were in Baguio it's better to take grab or taxi parking are limited.😊
Wow, enjoy your vacations at Baguio and the weather is great 👍👏God bless and good day everyone 🙏
I am from Baguio, now living in the US, rent ranges from 15k up depending on location. Enjoying your reaction! 😊
Always waiting for your blog Lyn is so pretty more and more
Try Laubach Road. There are lots of Koreans who live there whom you can ask help in finding a place. Most Korean students who study in Brent live there or nearby like the condo place you asked earlier. There are two parking areas in SM. One is when you go up SM and the other one is on the other side in Gov. Pack Rd. In front of University of the Cordilleras. That is the newer one and is just for parking. Sunsets in Baguio are always beautiful. You can easily view a beautiful sunset in the veranda of SM Baguio. Enjoy!
welcone TO THE PHILIPINES❤❤❤❤❤
Taxi drivers in Baguio city are mostly HONEST people unlike Manila you can just hop and go thats why a lot of people are using taxis in Baguio it’s affordable.Baguio city is a crowded city in the midfle of the mountsin with great and high quality education.
You can look for cheap apartments/transient homes (whole house) if planning long term stay. Baguio is very nice just traffic, parking issues and traffic violation problems on weekends and holidays, you can leave your car at apartment/transient homes and take a cheap cab or Grab book to go around. You just have to discover where to stay for your convenience, where to eat etc. Baguio is a good jump up poibt to amazing places in Benguet province, just be careful when travelling.
Parking here in Baguio is actually one of the most problematic ones. But SM is the best parking spot. But sometimes we have to go around 2-3x to get a spot in SM. There are 2 parking areas in SM, the Old one and the New one. If the old one is full, we go to the new one, and if it's full we go back to the old one, because eventually there will be cars leaving, and spots will be open. The traffic is horrible to get line for the parking spots in SM, but that's the best place to park. Sometimes other cars would even skip the line. You really have to be patient.
Baguio wasn't meant for a lot of people or cars that's why we don't have a lot of parking areas. We do suggest leaving your car at home, or park at SM, and just commute or walk around to places, since Baguio isn't that big.
Try also to visit Atok benguet to mesmerize by all kinds of beautiful flowers the views were amazing, thanks for all of your nice videos🥂👍
As you have been there for a while by now, you already know that parking is difficult over there.
and also once you are settled you can visit Benguet but always check the weather before you will travel to neighbouring provinces
SM supermall is near to where krispy kreme is. They have bigger parking lots. The place where you first went is not SM mall but only the separate grocery store of SM.
Always love your random adventures and reactions😊 totally not scripted
Keep looking outside the town proper of Baguio, they tend to be a little cheaper. A friend of mine and her fam used to rent somewhere near Burnham Park for only 15k monthly but that was 2 years ago. A lot of Koreans too in Baguio though they might be renting near the universities. Good luck in finding your new home! ❤
That weather comes with a hefty price. Also, baguio have a Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP), (number coding) your plate number is ending on “7” so you should leave your card on Thursday and try to commute or walk. Keep safe
Baguio looks like Japan i wanna move there.
I recommended before you visit baguio now you feel the experience of cold weather in the philippines
Wishing the family happiness in your new place.😊
You have to rent a 1950"s house or cabin log house. Most the houses has fireplaces with chimney. This the baguio experience the houses with fireplaces.
They are always full try to go to teachers camp
@@jhulialandown8516 when my family plan to go to Baguio we plan to reserve the family house 4 months before because March to July is a peak season and November to January also peak season.
1950's house? Then there must be a lot of Ghost and paranormal activity there.
Welcome to Baguio City! That said, rental places for Baguio City is very expensive... I suggest look for houses/condo outside of the city center, most areas are 15-20 minutes drive to the city center. Since you have a car, it will be convenient for you to commute. Try to look towards Asin Road (Tuba area), towards Camp 7, even in Marcos Highway area, Loakan area and Pacdal area. Of course that also depends on where your children will study. Just avoid La Trinidad because of too much traffic. Also, water in Baguio is not abundant to be ready with that; you'll also need water heaters to take a shower.
Yes you will love baguio, nice weather you don't need to open electric fan all day long also baguio ha a nice foods just stroll around and u will find it around d corner. A lot of samgyup Sal restaurant.
Fighting! don't give up you'll find a place to stay in baguio.
Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines ,
Im always waiting for your videos,i love watching your family😊❤❤your journey here in the philippines
You find accomodation first or you book for a rental apartment first before going to Baguio weeks earlier for a cheaper price and availability
Try to go to PMA there for a quick tour and check out the military training school. Lots of history and good view. Best to go in the morning to spot some cadets!
There’s an international school for your kids in Baguio and find your house near everywhere
Glad you are here. Not to rain on your parade, but people in Baguio have to ration water since water from the faucet is not 24/7, so aside from the pine trees you might notice that most houses have water tanks. The jeepney fare is also .50-1.00 peso higher than in the lowlands. Vegetables from the lowlands that are sold here are a little more than that in the lowlands. Taxi drivers are more honest and people here tend to observe traffic rules better.
I always love your videos. The Family is great.
baguio is really small. that krispy creme place is just 2 minutes walk away from sm baguio. you can just leave your car and walk to sm. then you can stay at sky terrace and chill
Welcome to Bagiuo City. Try benguet not so much crowded. God bless you all
Cozy, cold & historical ❤
you are correct its much easier to take taxi around the city proper and its cheaper because of no need of aircon.
You can also consider many great places in Ilocos, Paoay and other beach areas in Ilocos Norte. Also in Hundred Island of Pangasinan...
Your daughter is beautiful 😍😍😍😍😍
malls in the philippines open at 10:30am, so you should be in the malls before that time to secure parking.
Baguio is now crowded bit the weather still the same during my student life it's really cold, I have also some Korean classmates during the university days. 😊😊
You can park in SM or the mall beside the Cathedral if you are going in the city center.
Hi! Welcome to Baguio City. It is good to find a place outside the city proper. Rental is way cheaper even
I suggest to start with where kids would attend school, then look rental near or around chosen school. goodLuck 💪
good choice -
was born and raised in Baguio 😊
Visit Camp John Hay, very relaxing place to rest. Park there then take taxi.
from the looks of it, you were trying to use the parking spaces near the SM Savemore branch along Mabini Street. SM Mall's big parking lot is behind/near the Krispy Kreme branch you visited. if you're moving here in Baguio, find a house with a water tank 'cause the city's water supply is usually on rotation (like three days a week, and for half a day only).
I was there in baguio last year just 1hour drive from my place san fernando city. Theres a parking inside sm.
Now im in canada able to go back there next year.
i hope you enjoy staying in Baguio.. 💕
