What's funny is the same time I discovered ...a device that shall go unnamed...was the same time I found out about melda...like 15 years ago in California. It was because of my quest for the right limiter. They had the best limiter and I also got the other device as well. The things that initially compelled me to Melda were the limiter and also the multiband granular etc....I checked them out side by side and they are both great, different beasts for sure. I like the driven sound of the MFlator better than the other. Cannot drive the other as high. The volumes come out different with the same settings.
