Of all the Brompton clones, which one has the best build quality? Are there any clones that are qualitatively as good as Bromptons? I doubt it but I could be wrong.
I would love to buy one but if they are using short cuts to make these bikes, the quality might be poor. I have many things from other countries but certain places are known for copying others making them cheaper but have low quality products, that can be deadly sadly.
Mr. Liaoge reviewed those under SGD1,000 and feels that those that costs more are not significantly better in terms of parts and weight unless premium and light-weight parts are used. Take for example the Aceoffix he mentioned at 1:01, which he reviewed here, th-cam.com/video/ntkcc_6wJuE/w-d-xo.html. Generally, all these brands are essentially the same and it comes down to manufacturing, material and assembly (parts). Take for example, at 2:48, the 3Sixty uses the same seatpost clamp as the Brompton which does fail (I own a Brompton Black Lacquer and weigh 65kg but I had to replace the clamp with a metal one). In contrast, the Pikes at 3:28 uses the better metal clamp. Crank size is also a consideration and all comes with a variety of crank size. He also noted that the 3Sixty at 6:21 has a thinner clamp to have a lighter frame, in comparison with the others like the Pikes at 6:57. Assembly is a consideration in his review at shown at 9:06 where the Pikes has a smooth unhinging in comparison with all others, very much like a Brompton. He did not give any recommendation or conclusion but his review is honest. He does have his brand, Liaoge.

PIKES 豬鼻子 後貨架 易行輪品質不行 摺疊點 要噴一堆油 不然很卡 Mint BT-9 台灣發生 車架折疊機構分離 造成摔車 然後MINT 原廠找不到人的事了! 用什外九速 展開收折都很卡 又容易側倒 腳踏板無法往後轉 導輪跟鍊條收折後容易卡到車架 玩那樣多台 還是 3Sixty品質比較好
台灣MINT BT-9 都在發出召回檢修公告了
pikes第五代已经解决了折叠不顺，确定就是太重，至于易行轮所有车的都不行，需要后续更换
