Glad you didn't get injured except for your pride! I have had my Polaris Sportsman 550XP since I bought it new in 2010. It has only been to the dealer once which was last year for a new belt and exhaust repair. Granted, I got it at 42 years old and know that I need to take care of it because it is the only way I can actually access the mountains. When you have Muscular Dystrophy, it makes you hyper aware of things that will cause you to need a SAR rescue!! In my younger years, I did some great things with a Chevy Chevette that would put my ATV in the shop! I miss that little car that could!! LOL

John you need to get a tire plug kit. this way you can keep those tires longer. I have friends that have put 4 or 5 plug strands in a hole of those RZR tires and it keeps them usable.

I'm almost confident the drive system is like my sportsman. Its probably got water in the belt housing. You should be able to take out a little red drain plug and drain the water out and it'll drive good as new.

Jon you need a snatch rope to get things unstuck like that. Winch isn't always gonna do it while a snatch rope will yank things a lot easier often times.
