“Everything is fine, until it’s not”
I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with Denver more 😂 I have said this sooooooo many times in response to people’s reckless behavior. Just because something bad hasn’t happened yet, doesn’t mean it won’t ever. You leave your front door unlocked and no one breaks in, you were LUCKY! It doesn’t mean it’s ok to leave the door unlocked.

I'm laughing so hard at Denver talking about following a guy at the mall. My husband and I are normal working people, but a few years ago we saw a man doing drugs while driving in a busy area. We had nothing else to do that day, so decided to follow the crackhead around in our car to see what crackheads do. We did call the cops, and ended our investigation as it got weird watching the guy really quickly LOL

Yes you need a PI license and yes we can still get in trouble (former PI in Ontario). If a civilian asks what im doing, I have to show my license. And with the police, I would need to show my case file and license.
    Love your podcast 😊

First thought: I would TOTALLY watch you stream playing It Takes Two, that sounds like a really entertaining time given your awesome dynamic together. Second thought: I have a separate bedroom from my spouse, and we have been happily cohabiting for 17 years. Not all relationships look like the template that society pushes as "correct". I am a better person who can show up for my spouse and my obligations a little better when I am well rested and satisfied with my living arrangements. It is definitely possible to have a healthy relationship that deviates from the norm!

25:49 OP - I promise I'll do better! *2 seconds later does the complete opposite showing his words mean nothing and his actions won't change*

Restraining orders are notoriously hard to get in way worse situations other than this dude's. He thinks he's in serious trouble but most courts won't grant a restraining order over someone trick-or-treating near a house even if they have previously been a dick. They should have filed after he was violent. He sounds like a felon in training though if he doesn't get help for his anger.

Yes, a restraining order will follow you around.
