My thumb kept riding the safety up. Got the Tandemkross Cornerstone safety and solved it. The ledge on the safety allows you to rest your thumb on the safety. Works great! Thanks for the video. I’ve done a lot of mods on mine. Less than 1.5 lb trigger pull and I have a video to prove that. Mine’s a Lite though. Thanks!
We have very similar tastes. CZs and these. I love my 22/45 Tactical. Put a red dot on it and tack drive! Shot mine yesterday and put 100 rounds in a 3 inch dot at 15 yards. Ridiculous fun! I did have to install the TK trigger but not the VQ parts. Dramatically improved the trigger pull.
The safety is under your thumb because that's where it would be on a 1911. The idea behind the 22/45 is to be a cheap training tool for the .45 1911 with the same ergonomics.
I just purchased the Ruger 10/22 takedown with the bull barrel and I aim to pair this Ruger 22/45 tactical along with it, along with a suppressor, going to make the perfect pair.
I just bought mine Saturday morning. On Sunday it went to the range and I ran 350 rounds of assorted cartridges through it without any malfunctions whatsoever. I shot CCI mini mags to start and then used cci sv, eley target, norma match, and aguila sv. I have an old Schonfeld red dot that went on and my GGG bipod from my AR. It made an odd looking combination, but it was so much fun to shoot like that! I was shooting 1" 30 and 40 shot groups after it got broke in a little, all shooting at 25 yards. I like this gun so much already that I`m going to put a Streamlight on it and keep it by the bed for home defense. I also have a MKl Target and a MKll government model stainless that have been shot quite a bit and are both very nice, but this 22/45 version surprised me at how much it just felt perfect in my hand. I`ll shoot a few thousand rounds through it before deciding whether it needs any aftermarket upgrades, it may just stay like it is. Nice pistol!
Nice pistol, I don't believe I have seen this model before. I have a buddy sell his MK3 because of the difficulties in field stripping it. Enjoy and happy shooting

I have a pac lite, I put a gemtech22 can on it. It's a great little Plinker and I sometimes shoot armadillos with it when I get bored at the deer stand
Nice pistol Big J .I have the Mark iv stainless target . I put Williams Fire Sights on it . The fiber optic sights are a nice improvement . I really enjoy mine I'm sure you will too . It is a lot easier to drop the slide lever using my support hand thumb . It's a little far forward for strong side thumb .
Hello. May I ask the advantage of lite over tactical besides the weight? I like the tactical but unfortunately for me, all of tactical in the Philippines are out of stock. Only lite models are available. But I like the looks of the bull barrel of the tactical.

I have the same gun Big Johnson. Just add the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit, tweak the sear spring and you have a 1.5 lb. trigger. Fun Gun!

I know this is an old comment, but the Ruger Mark series is actually designed after the Japanese Nambu design.
The plastic frame is shit.. first thing I did was delete the no mag safety and buy a new (metal) frame.
