They didn’t make the GLE coupe first. They changed naming convention of their cars in 2015 so ML range became GLE I.e this car. Along with the slight facelift they gave this one, they created and released the coupe.

Great video. Has two issues I don’t like. The armrest is too hard and it get damaged overtime also the wooden gloss finish on the door crack under intense heat with time….. this might be the next ride tho but might wrap the armrest just too hard.

On the other hand, the imperial standard is 4.5ltrs, which we don't use here in Nigeria.

Thats the catch really because Almost alll gle or ml series ( except maybe 2nd generation) are actually off- road worthy . The first generation was actually a body on frame design (truck - like chassis) not unibody (car-like chassis) like we have in crossovers now. They are not like say bmw x5 that are generally designed to defy physics on tarmac and corners. The last 2 generations of bmw x5 can do some serious off- roading too if properly equiped. That's the world we live now, change at the flick of some buttons.

Issues with the electronic steering rack anytime you go off road. Like passing deep potholes in Lekki regions.
