Jamie also said in one of his practice videos that after you learned forward doubles, they are easier than simple forward flips. guess it's the tre flip - varial flip situation.
That was an intense game, it definitely delivered. Had me jumping around the room cheering for Jamie! Shame Jonny is out though, they both need to have more games in this comp.

Sad to see Jonny Giger leave after the first round. They should've battled somewhere further along the rounds, so that we could've probably seen both these flatground wizards do their thing a little longer.
Yeah if you look at the type of tricks they did, this could have been like a semi final or final type game. Very high level. And with the practice game Jonny beat Jamie. So it's definitely a close match regardless who starts off.

I think you can really see here that "common" pros are so much cold minded, where the internet pros and influencers tend to be sooo nervous in competitions, you can tell Johnny was pretty nervous

@@dominikaksiazek7177 yea totally agree... you can clearly see that in the battle on his channel... but otherwise Jamie landed some crazy tricks in this battle like double heel and failed that in the battle on Jonnys channel... so he deserved but I find it sad

Was cheering from my couch when I saw some of these defense makes. Sick game, and y'all are both amazing skaters. Always hyped to see Jonny because I watched a bunch of his tutorials as a beginner!
The fact that the first letter doesn't come until about 4 minutes into the video is a huge testament to both these guys' skills...

As a Giger fan this makes me so sad although I'm happy for Jamie. I wish Jonny had some easier enemies first. He's a very unlucky man: BATB 7 first match - PRod, BATB 12 - Jamie Griffin, I mean how unlucky can you get?! :D Now I hope Jamie wins the whole thing, because he's a beast and also a cool dude.

Tbh Johnny could’ve beat Prod that one game. Giger took it easy on him with the double flips and lost cuz of it
