Ricky's busting out some insane tricks too just flowing with Jamie's hype, love to see how skating with other insane skaters causes you to push yourself harder
Jamie is so freakin humble while he's at it too. .. he's like seemingly almost trying to just teach us that we all can do this, with enough love and respect for what we're doing.
He makes it look so easy. It's crazy. I also live how he lands. It looks "sloppy", but the more you watch him, he just kinda has this chill "I landed the trick now ima just coast" vibe. It's a super swaggy style. So cool.
Waow!! Jamie is definitively on a next level. I don't know which is more incredible: the tricks themselves or the ease with which Jamie executes them!!
@@bronzewand sure, but hes SUPER humble! like autism or traumatic childhood level of humble, not just an athlete who has tasted defeat before and knows to remain humble.
this is a video that def. needs more slow-mo shots. I can't even see whaat'S happening with the board sometimes. Just amazing skill, both Jamie and Ricky.
Im watching this at .25 speed and still blown away at the board to eye coordination here. Like that second trick. He knows the exact precise moment to snap his legs back to catch and reverse the board. Even while watching it's hard to comprehend the possibility. It's so incredible. My mind is melting.
Amazing!!! I used to do ones like a varial kickflip body varial, and my favorite simple one was the FS shuv-it underflip. Yet AGAIN you guys make me wanna break out the board for a sesh! Thanks again!
Jamie is literally a savant when it comes to skate boarding. Super impressive. You guys should have slow mowed some of his flicks to see exactly how his feet movie.
Really envy the skaters nowadays with access to TH-cam and social media etc with step by step tutorials. When i skated 20 years back, we could only learn from fellow friends or magazines and i couldn’t even land a kick flip. =)
What a great shoot! You guys both rocked it so hard but Jamie man you are liquid silk bro it's a joy to see you skate with the amount of heart and finesse and skill you have 🤙🤙
11:29 holy WHAT DID I JUST SEE!!! my gosh, the triple 360 flip, switch fs 360 kickflip were amazing and he landed clean. But I absolutely am blown away by whatever that 360 impossible was. Jamie is the king of tech!!!!
I really love watching these videos. It motivates me not to give up when skating. I’ve always had really tight calves because of the way I walked. I had surgery on them about 6 years ago, and ever since my legs have been really weak and I feel really unbalanced on my board. I can ollie decently high but not on ledges yet. I’ve noticed that my tricks really rely on my overall weight centering, but since my legs arent the most stable I tend to lack the balance I need. I’ve been watching these videos and it motivated me to start exercising my legs and my ankles. Also I’ve been doing stretches and squats to strengthen my legs so I can be capable of performing these tricks one day. I love skateboarding but sadly I’ve been thrown an obstacle that makes it extremely hard. But one day I’ll be doing these tricks. Thank you guys for everything. :)
Watching this video feels like when you watch a busker playing music on youtube and everyone is passing by without listening... you have that guy there doing crazy tricks and giving tips and everyone just skating around and not even care.
I cannot believe this dude is only 20 years old and has such a bag of tricks already. Proper skate geek. Can't wait to see where he takes his journey from here after winning batb.
I literally had to play dead during the sequence of Merlin twists 💀 this has to be some of the most amazing flat ground skate EVER ! Idk this guy but wow, EVERYBODY should 🔥
Still lovin this video. I was hoping to see a dolphin front revert. I got a clip of me doing that over a hip but it was always super challenging flatground!
I love how this younger generation picked up the baton and have taken street skating to the next level. I grew up street skating in the '90s, and by '98-2000, street skating was dying. The other thing I love is how much creativity they are putting into it. It's insane how far street skating has come. Rodney Mullen is patient zero and built the foundation for what skateboarding has become. Guys like Natas and Gonz were also at the forefront and spearheaded street skating. Then, guys like Danny Way, Alva, again Rodney Mullen, Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Jeremy Wray (on and on) took street skating to am extreme that no one thought possible. Now, the new generation is utilizing everything and using their creativity to turn dreams into reality. The younger generation, without question, picked up that baton and have taken street skating to new heights. I hope the preceding generation does the same.
It's funny if you're just watching him it seems like he's doing regular tricks. Then you watch the board and it's flipping, twisting, untwisting and unflipping, all while turning inside out as the graphics change from the bottom to the top and back again. It doesn't seem possible that any of this happens, but somehow it happens. Great footwork Jamie!
I haven't skated seriously in years but even back then I had a hard time learning to Ollie and I never get kickflips down. I can only image how difficult these are.
I'm so glad this guy is getting the recognition he deserves. We will be watching Jamie Griffin push skating for years to come.
Exactly he’s truly talented
Facts...He just won BATB 12...
Facts...He just won BATB 13...Yep , He win 2 in a row
ricky is so underrated i wasnte expecting him to keep up on some of these tricks. dragon flip was amazing
Ricky is an insanely good skater! He can try anything and often nail it after just a few try's, he just has a natural ability
Ricky's busting out some insane tricks too just flowing with Jamie's hype, love to see how skating with other insane skaters causes you to push yourself harder
Just FYI, this is all sports. You see someone do something you thought was impossible, and it makes it seem doable.
@@MattSeesGray Applies to anything competitive, really.. not even limited to sports.
@@hhastenot just anything competitive. but everything in this world
Jamie seems like an amazing guy to skate with. So humble and nice yet so technical and consistent at the most inhuman tricks. a true pro
100%

What's craziest is he is landing each of these dream tricks plenty of times in just minutes, several first go even. Insane.
Amazing 🙌🏽 The synergy taking Ricky to new heights!
Wow! Fancy seeing you here you are one of my synthesizer heros love your videos!
JESUS loves you all
I feel that too!
Waow!! Jamie is definitively on a next level. I don't know which is more incredible: the tricks themselves or the ease with which Jamie executes them!!
So insane I love how calm jamie is when he's doing this.
I have never been more pumped to practice flat ground in my life!! Amazing stuff!
Jamie truly deserves all the recognition he can, he is an incredible skater and cant wait to see him continue to shred and progress more!!
Def need these tricks in slow mo next time
he really is supremely talented for such a humble guy.
lol i feel attacked!!
@@bronzewand sure, but hes SUPER humble! like autism or traumatic childhood level of humble, not just an athlete who has tasted defeat before and knows to remain humble.

the video we all were waiting for!
i could watch Jamie for hours..congrads for winning BATB12, sadly Jonny was first round
Best video i saw for a while! People have no clue how hard skateboarding is... Doing those tricks so clean is incredible!
This was great to watch!!!
Thanks!
he truly is and will be legendary.
Thank you Jamie for showing us how to do these gnarly tricks
Mad props to Jamie. He makes it look so effortless

no one notices that ricky actually landed a lot of tricks?
Super fun watching Jamie and Ricky.
You guy inspired me to start skating and I thank you guys so much for that
Skateboarding seems so fun and easy. Will start tomorrow this fun and easy thing.
Love the Giger shout out! Crazy stuff, great video!
The best thing about Jamie is that when he learns a trick, he makes sure that he can just pull it out in his bag anytime.
yeah its almost like once he figures out how its like muscle memory and he can do them anytime
The fact that anyone's brain can process that fast is amazing!
Jamie's on a whole different level, and he's only 20. This is madness
This is Sparta ?

hes got superior genetics.. only a person with those riverdance feet could pull these off so flawlessly.
🤣😂🤣
ya its in the chromosome 😂
jamie is so insane! he is so technical and consistent
Man's got skills! And he is so chill it's awesome
Jamie Griffin looks like a magician on a skateboard. Crazy to see these technical tricks done with such effortless style.
Totally
Like Vinnie said about Andy Anderson: This man is a wizard.

My favorite flatground trick is the impossible, really any variation of it. Love how that trick looks 🤘
Much love and respect to you and your channel. I hope that all is well for you and your family and friends.

This is definitely my fav video so far. I love the crazy tricks
It’s insane that you can actually hear the board whipping through the air when he hit the triple trey flip
I absolutely love this!!!
That UHD video quality makes skating videos so much more enjoyable
Two really amazing skateboarders here in this video.
As a novice, the Merlin Twist is the one that drops my jaw the most.
Speechless. And how Jamie does it. Wow dude owns that board and has it on lock.
This guy best I ever seen period.
I literally had to play dead during the sequence of Merlin twists 💀 this has to be some of the most amazing flat ground skate EVER ! Idk this guy but wow, EVERYBODY should 🔥
ricky landing that late inward heel first try was sick!
Unreal. Jamie is the GOAT!
Ricky adding stuff to his skate game arsenal.
that sounds amazing when it spins the tripples
Right! I know I always love the sound
So cool to see Jamie on braille! Need some ellis frost and Johnny giger too 👍
Ya lets go
Still lovin this video. I was hoping to see a dolphin front revert. I got a clip of me doing that over a hip but it was always super challenging flatground!
Gotta throw some more slow mo replays in the edits, for all the cray cray stuff the braille boys do!!!
Finally a hardest trick video that’s actually true to its title
Jamie absolutely gnarly man!!
You guys need to invite Jamie back AND bring the high speed camera. The world needs ultra slo mo of these tricks!
you can hear the boards whooshing on the merlin flip. insane.
That Merlin flip looks magical.
Who’s here after the warehouse incident?
Me 😅
Warehouse incident?
Awesome video, could you show some slow mo? Board is a blur flipping around and then he just rolls away!
I swear watching Jamie skate now is like watching jimi hendrix play live. I think we're watching the making of a legend

Anybody else want to see him in sls? That would be so sick, hes got the skills he just needs the spotlight!

4:52 I think Jamie said "Haslam flip" but in Irish, it sounds like "Haz land". this is Chris Haslam's trick right? can anyone confirm or correct?
