It’s small stuff like this that makes the chemistry on this show the best in the business right now. These guy all have takes and different perspectives they’ve stuck with or flip flopped on but they enjoy a compelling argument/narrative above all. They joke each week about “the best segment in all of sports television” but they’re on the rise to being the best sports talk show imo

These 3 and coach Mangeni occasionally is the only show I watch…absolute gold
When I started listening to this show it was on in the morning and Nick was Chris Carter's sidekick.
This show has come so far. Nick has come so far. Not sure about his "John Wick" look, but it's better than his "Wario" look and I still suspect he has $ invested in "CLUTCH SPORTS," but I agree 💯 best sports show hands down.

On the surface. But when you think deeper, you realize that it is not.
The QB is the weakest link on the team, and yet teams often have the worst plans to deal with QBs such overpaying them without any accomplishments, not drafting competent competition and etc.
San Francisco is not having a QB problem, even with 2 QBs going down with injuries.

The 9ers are the exception and not the rule. The have above average personnel at most of the positions that matter, along with a great coach. From a roster building standpoint it’s an unrealistic blueprint. GM’s can’t just go and get great players at every position.

There’s no way that he’s playing at the level of “Irrelevant.” 49ers went dumpster diving and found a random portrait, stuck it in the cellar while a couple of local art pieces were upstairs in the hallway and dining room; then brought out their cellar portrait when the living room painting got coffee spilt on it and discovered that a Rembrandt was in their midst.

Sometimes i wonder if the packers have seen Jordan love enough to know they think he's not good. So they purposefully try to keep him off the field so the rest of the league doesn't realize it and they can potentially trade him for more than he's worth.
How many regular season games has Love played for them to see if he is good? Every time someone plays well during the preseason the sports media says, “it’s just the preseason. No one is really trying.” If it’s practice, it is the same statement.

It's amazing how you can get trapped paying a QB big $$$ and the guy ends up giving you his F Game. We're seeing it this year for various reasons: age, injuries, bad evaluation. At least the Rams won a SB, but now their coach - the boy wonder - is thinking about taking time off. Is Jackson worth the cash? Hurts? Dak, Murray, Rodgers weren't. What if Purdy wins a SB? Tampa was a mess this year, but at least Brady fought.
Cowboys vs Bucs is like NFL version of Lebron vs Raptors, Raptors were the 1 seed and Cavs were carried by Lebron all season and they still got destroyed
