I kind of have a feeling that Mariah was feeling good about her voice here, and I think she continued that confidence into 2012/13. She actually dropped some of the hero playback, so it seems like she reversed the playback changes she made for memoirs. I have a feeling she may have kept dropping playback if her vocal health kept improving.
6:33 *that E5 CLEEAR, as fuck with nO growl.. very impressive!!! so many jewels here.. she sounded phenomenal during the entire ILL BE THEERE pperformncee!*
also, BRAZIL'S ENERGY HELPS THE ARTISTS FEEL CONFIDENT. we appreciate the efforts and love given to us by the artists. just see how the brazilian crowds are loud.
These fast riffs of hers would suggest a video of: "The fastest riffs and runs Mariah did live" Riffs so fast that they must have a slowed down part to match the agility of her riffs. It can be low notes, middle notes or highs. Or also by vocal register. She is agile in any register!
You can see by the people singing (+ the lambs with the experimental adlibs lmao) how IWKWLI is important to Brazil! I really hope its gonna be on the setlist, cause Im gonna do everything I can to see her live in this year's Rock in Rio festival!
Wasn’t she pregnant as well during this time? That means she was more than likely eating healthy, no drinking, etc.. She sounds great and you can hear the elasticity in her voice. This also continued through the whole pregnancy as well as post pregnancy because the voice was well rested.
It’s really sad, because if she kept this level of vocal health into her 40s, she wouldn’t have gotten the reputation of losing her voice. In this concert she absolutely was still a vocal force to be reckoned with.
@@VOM27 yeah that’s true, but by TEOM, people accepted that her voice was like changed but not “lost”- which became the case after 2014, and then 2016/17 New Years.
I don't know why but her energy in this concert reminds me of 2022 energy...
2022 but with vocals😭

The difference is that poor 2022 had to work like 10x harder to actually sing in that condition💀
The whole concert was live even 2024
The fact she was supporting E5s in her 40s is insane
Yeah and considering her lowered tessitura, E5/F5s were basically the top of her belting range.
It’s actually not women peak vocally is around 35 40
@@dayzour123it’s much earlier than that , and that tends to not account for touring and issues like nodules and she was also pregnant here.
@@ScottD_ no it’s not I’m vocally trained a woman’s that’s in good vocal health vocally peak from 35 up til their early 40s
@@dayzour123 yes but my point is Mariah is NOT , she has nodules
The vocals here were amazing. Also her ease in the upper belts in 2010>>>
she was SOOO confident hefe

I think the end of Hero and the beginning of IWKWLI is one of the best things I've heard from her tone-wise!
Her tone during MOAIA/MC2U was so good and its honestly underrated
Honestly idk why I used to really not like it 😭. But yeah seriously her support in this era really allowed for a full tone.
Also E=MC2❤❤
13:20 great attempt by a lamb 😍
Ela tava soando tão saudável e descontraída, a Internet não era tão forte nessa época consequentemente não havia tanto hatel com relação a voz dela.
2010riah was giving her all
4:12 is the proof right there! Some of the textured of her voice in the 90s is still there! I mean, always has been
Yessss it was Damnn you caught that too😊
omg yess the onset of that the note at "won't" had a very music box tone i was SHOOK
@superninja6481 and some said it's lipped? lol, it's weird but some of us can identify which is lipped or not (in this kind of case tbh)
hm this is from 2010 it's been 14 years
@@westanmariah can't imagine that 2010 is 14 yrs ago fr
That tone during the whole of Hero OMG ❤️❤️
Also the easy, fluidity and confidence she was so rested wow🔥
Her head voice was so strong this era there a performance where she sang impromptu and she sustained a resonant F5 head voice I can’t seem to find it
The easiness and precision she had in fast runs are unbelievable.
also, BRAZIL'S ENERGY HELPS THE ARTISTS FEEL CONFIDENT.

Mariah being preggers and slaying at the same time 😍😍
13:12 27 weeks at #1 🤩
the fluidity
the falsetto transitions
the agility :’)
Her voice!!!
Tive o prazer de estar lá quase morri de emoçao rainha mesmo como eu queria ter tirado pelo menos uma foto amo ela melhor cantora do mundo 😢❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love that idea! I had to slow it down to get all the notes in this video 😂
The humidity of brasil it's giving her the best resonance and vocals that she wanted to deliver usm

❤my angle butterfly mariah
This era woooowwww, that tone voice
My queen.
I love the growls in MIH in this era!
Total Lionriah!
3:14 and she did it on an E vowel, slay
In fact, as far as I can remember, she did the ground in Brazil without a growl... and left without any hoarseness or throat clearing.
E 14 anos depois ela irá retorna no Rock in Rio
And after 14years she will return again on Rock In Rio 🤧🤩🤩🥳
1:14 better than TAOM
Can you a showcase for her Australian tour
What year?

4:12 this part lipped? can't tell bc it sounds so music box
Nope! Not lipped!
This is better than Beyoncé and Xtina in their 40s and she’s not
Even trying the greatest vocalist of all time.

She had that reputation since 1998 tho.

Her voice aged very slowly after the 2000 but something weird has happened since 2022.
I should clarify that I don’t personally think her voice was lost in 2014, but just that this is the public perception
ya know she did not want the fn spotlight on her at the start of Hero,
4:05 what did she do💀
I assume forgetting her words
I was thinking about her forgetting the words in one and all 😭😭
