@@EthanLaidlaw-hw7qythat is dependent on the weapon I’m using, but for the majority of the time I turn it off for every weapon besides the sniper and bow to have a sense of consistency. However this is not necessary and for some they can perform very well with it on. Lycommit is a great example of this, he has it turned on while running a very low sense, I think he uses a glass pad or skates to compensate for any drag. Long story short it’s all up to preference and one is not more optimal than the other. Hope this helps!
I have to say, I've followed all your aim training routines and, with consistency everyday training, it has vastly improved my tracking. Can't thank you enough for going in depth with each gun in your masterclass. I didn't realize not letting the reticle set would cause bullet dispersion. That's gonna help me a lot now. I agree the fcar needed some rework. But with the changes to AKM and famas it kinda just feels a bit worse now (like, they both get sights now). I think they should undo some of the recoil changes, it didn’t need the dmg nerf and the recoil nerf. Great video as always

But atm it’s just a disadvantage to use unless you’re already good at it, someone new to the fcar will STRUGGLE

my problem with any gun in the fps world is that i can absolutely shred in the practice range -doesnt matter close range or long rage... but as soon as i enter the actual online mode i tend to suck for some reason-not always though its just that its not consistent at all maybe im stressing too much or something idk
That’s more common than you think and has happened to me as well. It takes time for the brain to make a connection between two activities because of a variety of small and big differences. Such as eliminating a red dummy and eliminating an actual player. However this is slowly synchronized by consistency and time by creating good habits at the practice range and former mouse or stick control. I promise you one day you will make this connection automatically without even thinking about it and even surprise yourself.

I just wanted to point out that what you said about stretch res also applies to sitting too close to your monitor, the finals is too fast paced for those things to be consistent advantages
Funny thing is I had to switch to a smaller monitor for this game because the wide screen monitor I was using made it extremely hard to center for the exact reason you mentioned. Great point 👍👍

This gun definitely needs some love. Being beaten by the AKM in ttk in most scenarios while also being harder to use just kinda makes this gun not worth picking most of the time, especially for quick play.

Great Vid, probably helpful for die hard competitive players but honestly I just don't think its worth the effort. I'm just gonna stick to akm again this season cuz of the bigger mag, negligible difference in damage/TTK and it now having the sight as well I see no point in putting that much effort just to be decent with FCAR. It was best and actually balanced towards the end of season 2 after it got all the nerfs and still had 20 bullets, the rework to reduce the damage further and increase mag size to 25 so that less accurate players can use the gun was what killed it for me. I really tried to main it in season 3 but it was clear as day that akm was giving FAR more value than FCAR could in that state. Only saving grace was it's sight and now AKM got even that with a slight reduction to it's mag. Realistically best weapons for medium this season are still gonna be akm and 1887, the new pipe gun has a lot of damage so either that or famas would be the 3rd pick, rest of the weapons just come under niche at this point IMO.

You’re very welcome! 1. I prefer at the moment the FCAR over AKM off of feel. However in terms of sheer performance the scoped AKM is better for overall use at the moment. With that being said it is my opinion the the scoped FAMAS dominates both guns in the AR department. 2. At the moment I keep them the same for every gun excluding the bow and sniper. This is strictly for a sense of consistency. However this is up to preference. 3. I keep it off until I swap to sniper or bow.

I thought there was only 1.4x and 2x headshot multipliers in the game. Either there's a mistake in your numbers or the SCAR actually has a 1.5x for some random reason and I didn't know it.
From the data I have collected and cross referenced the body damage is 22 and the crit is 33 making it a 1.5 damage multiplier. If possible could you provide me the source of the 1.4x and 2x crit multipliers so I can better understand where you’re coming from?
@@HazedNConfused Well precision based weapons like the LH1, Revolver, Sniper and Deagles have a 2x multiplier, and a bunch of vids I saw early in the game's life mentioned 1.4x for everything else. Maybe I was mistaken then. So does that mean everything not 2x is 1.5x? So i went and checked while I was typing, apparently it's only 1.5x and 2x, oh and the dagger's 6.4x backstab. I was wrong, my apologies.

I’m in the process of making a video on bullet drop off right now, idk if you’ve notice but I think the same rule is applied to the Lh1 and pike at some point, you’ll see the projectile appear just like the sniper and start to drop. Just trying to gather footage now to make sure it’s really the LH1 or pike and not the sniper.

Now to push it even further from the exact frame the bullet is reduced by 1 till the entire bar disappears it is 1.47s.
Im pretty sure bloom exists even when you're just strafing. I had to start recording my gameplay bc i could have swore that my reticle in hip was right on my target but i wasn't doing damage, leading to me losing some 1v1's. I watched those clips and on both the medium and heavy some of my shots weren't registering even tho my reticle was directly on the other players chest. I'll never understand why devs do this garbage. Nerfing player accuracy bc "reasons" is an awful idea.

@ you can keep the crosshair static by turning off “In World Crosshair” and “Dispersion Reticle”. Then adjust the “Center Dot” and “Static Reticle” to how small you want it to be. Hope this helps!

That's a very good question and it is dependent on when they started to record the TTK. During my research I tried to replicate those numbers the best I could, but could not. I recorded both 60 and 120 frames several times, from the frame the health bar breaks to the frame it disappears and both yielded the results of 1.43s consistently. So I tried recording from the frame the first bullet is used till the point the health disappears to see if I ended with the Zafferman results however that came out to 1.47s consistently. I'm not saying its wrong, but I need to know how he recorded his results, if I'm missing any variables, so I can somewhat replicate it.

Your reasons are very valid and until something is done about the FCARs recoil the gun will continue to lose its identity to the AKM.

I like it for reload speed paired with heal beam as it gives me less time between reloading followed healing a team mate.

There will be constant bloom every time you strafe, but when you strafe while sprinting the bloom will get even wider.
