Nice new haircut Andy! That is what I do in spring. Just as trimming plants back and deap clean the filters. I guess due to lazyness from my side 😂. Great video mate.🙂👍
It's ok to wash the sponges in tap water as I'm not using them for any biological filtration, purely mechinical. I've changed my mind over the years re the irises - I used to cut them right back at the begining of winter/late autumn, but have slowly moved to January as the mild autumns and early winters have meant they only really completely stop growing and die back themselves after Christmas
hi mate nice natural looking pond just subbed as well cheers
cracking update andy buddy 👍👍

Enjoyed your vid, super pond, winter ready😀
Get a koi 😊. Really enjoyed this episode. Love your sump pump system and your cctv camera view.
Great update Andy, pond is looking mint 👍🏼
Thank you, it's slowly getting better each year
Looks great, how much litres is the pond?
Thank you - it's about 10,500 litres
Hi, just subbed you, best wishes, Tony, Farmoor Koi.😀
Cheers Tony, appreciate that 👍
Looking very good mate, let’s hope we don’t have a too harsh winter.
Thank you, and I agree!
Just going to say the sponge should be clean in pond water and I would cut the Iris right down.

Great update Andy. Always an enjoyable watch. The carp are looking good. Impatient to see the new one.
Me too! Hopefully (disasters aside) it will be the last addition
