It’s been cool to see you gain subs from back when I first stumbled onto one of your videos when I was looking for content like yours, to now you have almost 60k subs and your still growing. Thanks for the content and I can’t wait for you to have more success. Stay positive bro and you will continue to be successful.

employment opportunities are not that big, many engineers at times struggle to find a job, to my knowledge in us theres arount 20000 biomedical engineers and around 1 mil electrical and mechanical engineers, watch Aaron Clarey, hes an economist and he wrote a book "worthless" which states anything bio, is a rubbish degree, the only viable premed option is chemical engineering
Thanks a lot for your help zach, this is very meaningful advice. MajorPrep thanks yeah, I've been told I need to change my mindset a lot but that feels like trying to stop the rain with your hands. Thanks for the help and keep the videos coming. :) I'll check these books out.
MajorPrep i didnt pay too much attention in high school algebra although i got decent grades. Im in an electrical automation 2 yesr program at the top of my class now but i want to go into engineering once im done but im afraid that the math will be what stops me but i want to learn and succeed. What should i do im trying to get into a college math class this summer. I got placed in college algebra
Don't worry about the math dude. I was in medical high school and knew nothing about math. I didn't even study a lot because i didn't want to become a dental technician. I just finished my second year of college at Electrical Engineering , and major (don't know the real english term) Computer Technologies and information. It can be hard but everyone can do it if they want to and work on it.
Borjan Kalinoski im going through and reminding myself of how to do algebra. Its coming back quickly thank god. So i hope i can do the precalc and eventually calc!!! And nice man. How are the classes treating you? Whats hard and whats easy for you up until now?
Well classes about programming are the most interesting to me, some are harder than others but if you are interested in something its no problem. Electronics-like classes in not that into. I passed 3 math classes now i am listening to my fourth math class which is really hard.. but hopefully one day i will pass. You will encounter harder and easier classes, some that you like and some that you hate, but i think that is unavoidable at most colleges.
Read "The Devil in the White City", Erik Larson. This is a true story about business, the emergence of electric power, and the businessman that was "so crazy" he invented one of the most common amusement rides, (and the "war of the currents") surrounding the 1893 Colombian Exposition.
Weirdly I've felt like when I go back to reading a lot, I actually seem to get better and sharper at everything else, my engineering coursework included. Never liked self help much, always found novels helped me more with introspection. (I am also 22 and really have little idea what a stock is)
I work 3 shifts and I come home exhausted.I can put an hour or two for trying to learn something but where I live(NW Romania) there is no demand for programming or at least not what I like. And I don't enjoy web developing.Engineering?Hahaha good one.I went into a local shitty university and besides knowing how a MOSFET or a BJT works I don't have any real insight into complex electronics. There are 3 factories in the citiy who are in fact electronic sub-assembly manufacturers,no R&D.So yeah,it depends on where you are born and what opportunities you have.
i dont know what to major in computer science and engineering or mechatronics really a hard choice... watched all your videos related to this topic but still couldnt decide
Thank you for recording this video! I have been doing some research on TH-cam and I have found many people with similar stories. For me reading is helping me to find my passion and try to make it profitable. I have studied marketing and journalism but I am reading lot of books about e-commerce and I am finding a very interesting topic to start to invest some money into it. Do you know something about this business?
How do I overcome straight up not having the patience for it? even after taking my (prescribed, mind you) methylphenidate, I can't even sit through a multi-paragraph news article.
I will suggest something please try to make a video on engineering physics there are no videos on that but many wanted to know about that ..if you can make please try ..😊
Great books! Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is amazing haha. Other good books are Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey, and Mindset. One of my all time favorites is Unshakeable by Tony Robbins. If there’s anything you get from that book, it’s page 24 :) I bought the audiobook for the Elon Musk Autobiography by Ashley Vance and that book was so inspiring! Definitely a favorite. Now I’m starting the Surely You’re Joking Mr. Feynman audiobook lol. Reading can be enjoyable when you read books about things that your interested in

7:42" wouldn't it be more meaningful if I was making these videos at 1 million subscribers"
Guys, he made it
Weirdly I've felt like when I go back to reading a lot, I actually seem to get better and sharper at everything else, my engineering coursework included.
Oh hey i read that book you had open in the thumbnail recently
thank you i enjoy watching your video
Guess I'm on my way. I have or at least noticed most of the books shown. Going to have to get on that programming and business side tho haha.
reading through books or pc or kindle . which best?
Great stuff Major Prep.
So facts about high school English holy sh**
You learned all that coding and database stuff just to build your own website. So fucking motivated.
good luck, mate :)
Thank you !!
You are a real awesome man
I will suggest something please try to make a video on engineering physics there are no videos on that but many wanted to know about that ..if you can make please try ..😊
I mastered trading derivatives but not the ones u know in calculus but in the financial mkts
I wonder, how do you choose what books to read?
nice vid dude
What's a book and where can I get one?
It's like a tree that you read.
Upon seeing the thumbnail,I thought u were going to review the book Deep Work by Cal Newport. But u didn't. Well what r ur thoughts on the book.
