Your Locs!!! That length!! I remember the little bit of frustration you had within that first year, but you stuck with it. And it was well worth it because your Locs are gorgeous!! I still go back and watch those old videos because they motivate me to keep on pushing. 😊
I thought the FDA requires that ingredients be listed on the packaging. I guess no one has filed a complaint yet. I have an issue that if someone isn’t releasing their ingredients then something is fishy. Most companies are proud to show off how natural their ingredients are.
+Oonagh72 thanks for sharing! My view on it, is that some people don’t want to put the ingredients because they don’t want people to steal their formula. It’s almost like someone cooking and having the best tasting secret sauce but they won’t tell you it because they want you to keep buying it or keep returning but I understand where your coming from as well.
You're right as far as I know. Ingredients must be listed in the order of highest concentration to least. This is the law and I believe that handmade soap bars depending on the claims made can be exempt. Plus if there are allergies and etc, people have a right to know what they are applying to their bodies that may possibly be ingested. Their ingredients and contact information is imperative and I also believe that it is against OSHA regulations as well.
I understand many companies want to protect their formulations, but the law is clear on this one. The consumer has a right to know. No one knows the exact formulation or how much is used in each product. It is too hard to copycat or steal it because formulations even if you have the supposed ingredients it is very hard to duplicate precisely or perfectly.
@@GypsyCurls Love the products. Use them often! My aunt is an intellectual property attorney. She explains that there is something called "trade secrets laws". If you guys research it you will see that if there is a NEW innovation to an industry etc such as these products, the company is protected by the law and do not have to list ingredients. Actually, coca cola does the same thing under trade secret laws. They only list "water, flavor, color" as their full ingredients list. This protects their formula from theft. Most of the people on here complaining about the ingredients etc are probably competitors posing as regular people. Thank you for the review and I checked out the site and the prices are bad. I been looking for a product that’s all natural for retwisting and condition my locs. And you’re right about the water soluble issue. I know an all natural hairdresser who told me that if there’s no build up during washing and rinsing while shampooing then it’s natural.
@lonnell bivens I cannot purchase enough of these!! Prices are bad? No, the prices are excellent for what you get from each bottle. They last really long and I get about 8 full retwist sessions from one bottle. I could only get two retwists from the jars of gel I once bought. "Prices are bad?" No, you Americans are just spoiled. It would be a try it at your own risk type of situation so it is a no for me. Companies should list their ingredients so that we know what we are putting on and in our bodies.
