- I got off of the Metro Red Line at Union Station and saw an exhibit about Los Angeles Old Chinatown. Prior to the construction of the Union Station in 1939, Chinese immigrants settled in Old Chinatown from 1880 - 1939. This exhibit shares the history, stories, and photographs from that timeline prior to Old Chinatown's demolishment.

Very nice 👍 Thank you have a good day. Stay safe 🙏
Thank you and glad you enjoyed, Colleen! 🤗
Thank you for the tour!! You would make a great tour guide ya know!!👍😃👍💥
Thank you for your kind words, Dutchman! 😃 It's easier to record silent walks than being a tour guide and talk to people. 😂
@HengMiao Oh my goodness! (in a Shirley Temple voice) I agree with Dutchman, but you made me laugh out loud! Silence is Golden 😂😂😂
By the way, that's an interesting station.
@mariamercy7317 Silence is golden sometimes, just like the silent movies from the early 1910s until the 1930s! Love the Shirley Temple reference, and there's so much history about Union Station. 😃
A very interesting video Hengmiao I like this exhibition that showed information about Chinese immigrants settling in old Chinatown in Los Angeles. I remember when vacationing in Jamaica I came across information about the first wave of Chinese immigrants settling in Kingston, Jamaica in 1854 from China. I also remember that Jamaica has a Chinatown too located in Montego Bay.
Yes, I'm glad I saw this exhibit. Thank you for sharing your experience about the Chinatown in Jamaica! 🤗
