If the cap had a dead short or if you touched the probes together , the meter will read good cap with low esr, my does, and it refuses to go back to the OL screen display. I think think it may have something to do with the firmware.
@@screen-protector besides the price £80-£90, I feel they’re more accurate Pete, Peak atlas ESR70, and Peak Atlas DCA55, I have a spare set in protective box if you want to buy it 😊

I only use PEAK meters I have 2 ESR and 1 semiconductor testers
