The Paul Rubens oil pastels are sticky / melty compared to others. Also, the Mungyo pearlescent are water soluble oil pastels. They do not behave like traditional oil pastels or like the Mungyo gallery oil pastels, which are excellent.

I knew the pearlescent ones were soluble and recall seeing someone using them in a video and I thought they were pretty, might order those and the mungyo gallery ones per your suggestion because these Paul Ruben’s ones I’m definitely finding to be very sticky feeling.

I think the black lyra marker just sucks.. It's the only one O have and when I use it with water it turns purple. Thas why I didn't bought any other color of them.
I tend to find lots on Mercari or eBay / I will search for “coloring book lot” or “marker lot” or even sometimes “coloring supplies lot” or “art supplies lot”- it’s hit and miss, sometimes there are great deals to be found other times nothing.
I'm interested in both the coloring and the journaling.

The Zig clean color "real brush" markers are the water soluble ones. Great video!
