Second building done, only 46 to go. ;) The moment you started cutting strips for the windows I thought, some broken glas would be cool....what's he doing with marker.....ah, ok. Broken glas - check.
Just stumbled onto this channel, and I subscribed immediately because I have a large stack of these very same buildings for use as terrain on my Dropzone Commander table. Your clips will be super useful for sure! 😎👍
I appreciate the comment and you subscribing! I'll do my best not to let you down. These building kits are the best pandemic purchase I ever made. Cheap, easy, and versatile. I'd love to see whatever it is you're working on!
I have always imagined a scifi train layout done realisticly like this one. Hooked on your videos. Amazing work so far! Are you going to be modeling/moding locomotives and rolling stock to fit the world?
I'm thinking of heavily weathering some Kato Passenger diesels. I've never done any sort of motive power modifications so I need to figure out how to approach it.
I enjoyed this build. Great job !
Olympic level kit bashing. Fantastic work.
Prior vid was thinking great glass windows, wonder if you could break some? Then this vid, smash, tinkle! There they are! Well done!
Awesome work!
Thank you, and thanks for sending some of your followers my way! It's been a great surprise!
Beautiful.
This is so well done. Thank you so much for sharing. :D
Glad you enjoyed it!
Apocalypse Style 👌
Just discovered your channel. 👍💯 Looking for more.
Your work is tremendously impressive. I love how you used the plastic sprue as a piping, instead of throwing it in the trash like most modelers would.
All of my local hobby shops (local = within 2 hours) have closed due to the pandemic. I shall make due with what I have!

I think I've figured it out - you're a professional prop/model builder! If not, you should be.
High praise! Thanks.
Your work is awesome i am just starting my train layout and your technique helps
Thanks for the comment. It's all good fun and I sincerely hope you will enjoy your own project!

I take it you’ll be putting this wreck of a building in a rundown area?
Great work I have 3 outlands building I never knew what to do with them since there just plain grey what's the inches of the styrene ?
Thanks. I'm using 0.060" styrene.
What kind of sheet plastic do you use for the windows?
I use acetate intended for laser printers.
@@NScaleDystopia Thanks!
Hi, what kind of adhesive do you use to glue styrene together? The stuff I've bought does not work and doesn't hold at all!
You need to use plastic weld. There are several brands. It actually melts the styrene and bonds it permanently.
@@NScaleDystopia can you send me a link to where you purchase yours from? Also what thickness is in the styrene that you use for kitbashing? Thanks!
@@NScaleDystopia is the JB plastic weld product?
@@eduardolamboy4776 Yes!
@@NScaleDystopia what about plastruct plastic weld?
What type of tape is the roof?
Nothing more than simple masking tape. The diluted white glue secures it in place, otherwise it can curl over time.
