  • 金属加工 (Metal Processing) Industries is the first building in a collection of 35 that I plan to build by kitbashing inexpensive structure kits with regular household supplies. I plan to document each build as I create a city filled with abandoned post-apocalyptic ruins.
    The 金属加工 Industries building is a wedged-shape industry that sits on the outskirts of the city. It was designed using one-half of an Outland Models Modern Garage / Logistics Centre kit. All of the small details were scratch-built using styrene and common household materials, except the loading bay door - a Titchy Train Scale Models detail part. Everything was painted using inexpensive craft store paints, weathered with an India ink wash, and overrun with weeds using Woodland Scenics ground foam.
    I'm looking forward to this new series!

    LOL, that is not dystopian, that is just Detroit! Great video, thanks for sharing.

      @@NScaleDystopia I get a pass, I used to live there in the 70s and early 80s. So yeah, pretty much.

    Amazing Congratulations, about the walls of the buildings, are they made by laser cutting?

    • @NScaleDystopia
      @NScaleDystopia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not sure if the kit walls are molded or laser cut. Anything I added was cut by knife

    Dude... Plz tell me you like the original Resident Evil games (PlayStation years). Bcuz I'm getting the vibe that you could do a helluva rendition of Raccoon City, or even just street scenes from the game. As a fellow N scaler myself, i salute you! This is super cool!

      Hi Thom. This particular model was kitbashed using a building by Outland Scale Models - no 3D prints!

    Well done sir....I remember when Malcolm Furloughs layouts were being featured in MR. Someone asked why his layouts looked like they had just come through an apocalypse. Well this layout is why.

      A Furlow masterpiece was never done until he had dumped a wheelbarrow of dirt on it. Thanks for watching - I appreciate the kind words.
