Daniel Negreanu and Erick Lindgren take over the feature tables on Day 1b, with Vanessa Rousso and Kenny Tran in the mix. Off the felt, Negreanu squares off with Norman Chad as they step away from the Rio to play some hockey!
Mike Matusow joins the action on Day 1c, along with Joe Hachem, Roberto Romanello, and segments about legendary gambler, Archie Karas and "using your one time!"
Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, and Chuck Liddell get involved on Day 1d along with defending champion Jerry Yang. While Phil Laak makes an appearance in a very special outfit!

PokerGO delivering ALL the goods! I love these telecasts. Keep 'em coming!
oh dear
The infamous quad aces losing hand. What a way to go out! 39:07
The worst bad beat of all time
I would be so mad losing with quad aces
If that happened to me i'd just start crying right there 😂😂😂
The worst thing about that hand was that it was during the main event. If it would of happened in a cash game the loser would have gotten paid instead it’s a bust in the most prestigious tournament
This happened to me just a few weeks ago actually. I had AK suited and was all in preflop against 1010. My opponent flopped 10s full, and I went runner runner for a Royal Flush! Lucky for him it was essentially an online free roll.
You might as well quit the game after losing to hand like that
Loving these! Thanks for the upload!
Normand and Lon are Legends
That Royal Flush vs Quad Aces hand was sick.
I LOVE RAYMER!!!
Loved Joe Hachem when he won in 2005… although I wanted Steve D To win, or Mikey.. but man can that change in a heartbeat. Guy is an absolute tool. You won a main event bro, you have no reason to ever be salty 🤦🏻♂️ I can see why people aren’t very fond of Joe Hachem anymore
Exactly
He and Jamie Gold both took themselves WAAY too seriously. Thought they were the smartest guy in the room.

I’m watching this poker tournament just as the others. Suddenly came Kenny Tran little story that brought tears to my eyes. I felt you bro. Hopefully your daughter is doing great by now ❤
1:28:07 He knocks out Negreanu and then screws him on the handshake and proceeds to laugh at him.... That guy is coldblooded 🤣
Tran’s story about his daughter… If you’re a dad it hits home!❤
yes i fully agree but the tumour the same size as a volleyball ? come on man
Thank you pokergo. All of us 50 something degenerates are loving this nostalgia.
I'm 30 and i love this, makes the game much more fun
32 here. Watching moneymaker and raymer when I was not even a teen, has made me a poker fan for life. Haven't been to a casino yet, but I don't know how I can avoid it for much longer
Hey remeber it all and havent even turned 44 yet 😂 born1980
This is back when people actually talked and joked at the poker table. The players had personality and style.
Now, it's like a funeral service and seeing who can tank the longest and be the most annoying.
I'm 33 and felt nostalgia for the past few.
Hey PokerGo keep it going with these videos 🤩
Mike Matusow is a legend
Jerry Yang welcoming everyone on his day's off is just so wholesome!
48:20 going around the table shaking hands like he's the president ( or Phil Hellmouth)
@@agoo7581this.
Haha I hate that guy, he said he was “gonna win back to back”. That guys screaming and dancing after winning every hand was so poor.
I still hadn't began playing poker at this point but it's amazing to see how big the game was and how much player sponsorship there was too.
The start of the November Nine and longer episodes of the Main Event! Oh boy am I ready!
Not a fan on the November Bine format. Absolutely destroys the flow and momentum of the tournament.
@@usernamesrlamo Yep - November nine was one of the worst things in the WSOP
@@usernamesrlamo yeah the format of the November Nine does stagnant the tournament for a while as it designed for longer episodes and more story telling.
Whoa... the opening minutes hereby makes me request a replay of that year's $50K HORSE event with Scotty, DeMichele and Lindgren.
Is this the "stackem stackem to the top!!!" event?
Chuck is sooo badass! Its sweet watching a guy who doesn't really know what he is doing, being human, but at one point was the Top of his profession
wow, youtube makes the commercials on wsop videos more than 30 seconds and you cant skip any of them..this is the 3/4 one ive tried to watch but wont cuz of the lenghty commercials..could you please ease up on all the commercials or lower the premium plan to half price for people on food stamps..amazon does
you're just freeloading, quit whining and enjoy the fact that you don't need a pokergo subscription to see this
Thank You!
Erik Lindgren talking about trust aged well.
Same with the booing Chino. I wonder how many of them are actually creditors. 😛
I think a lot of players made sponsorship deals though don’t know if they complained
PokerGO has to see that ESPN brought WSOP to a wider audience and should make more effort to get WSOP on mainstream media. The growth of poker needs the general public beyond poker players that the Main Event is exciting television. Free hours of each day's Main Event are not enough. We need characters created ad followed - not just pros commentating on pros.
agreed
They've not only put it behind a paywall, they've made it boring. There's no more flair to it. There's no backgrounds of the players other than where they sit on Hendon Mob.
Probably the first main event I never caught all of, will be interesting to see some of the story lines.
Anyone know if the Feduniaks still play the Main Event?
They would be like 90
Phil Hellmuth losing with Quad Aces is definitely something I'd like to see.
What did Nguyen do at the HORSE table that was questionable?
He was drunk and berating just about everyone. It was kinda a hard watch from what I remembered. I haven't watched it since it aired, or maybe I watched it rerun a couple times.
Great video. Did not know Forrest Griffin (my favorite UFC fighter) played poker, as did Iceman. Keep the videos coming!
Amazing fold
The best time to watch these videos is just when they are uploaded, before the algorithm fills it up with the super long ads 🙂
TH-cam premium is high value. I'd pay $60 a month for it.
@@parthenocarpySAare you Elon Musk
Brave ?
@@parthenocarpySA agreed if u watch a lot of TH-cam its worth the price
Best intro ever
The Matusow AA vs 55 hand is pretty interesting to watch now, given how much he has sounded off about blockers in recent years. He might have been able to get away from the overpair and not put the opponent on a draw with the A♦in his hand.
I honestly can't figure out how TJ Cloutier got 2nd place twice and 3rd once in the main event.
I never realized until now, but at some point Norman Chad references "Del Boca Vista phase 3" which is where Jerry Seinfeld's parents moved to in the show
I don’t like the November 9, I wanna play from day one to finish 12 hours a day.
It was a novel idea when they announced it. It lost all steam after third time.
@@JDjade1 ya, and it changed the outcome of what it would’ve been had they played it out
@@burqueninja5056How so?
@@Secretservice709 fatigue for 1. Having a long period of time between playing the final table , instead of getting it done that day or next change’s everything. I guarantee the outcomes would be different just playing it out rather than doing it weeks or months after
Agreed. That was a failed experiment.
I too drive a Lame Lamburgerdini. Touche Scotty, touche.
that phil ivey hand is insane. 2:16:20
Beautiful fold with the J's... so nice!
Havad Khan seems like a great guy... But those antics were kinda stupid... they were harmless and fun.... But they were also stupid, like a wild kid being a moron.
wow one in 2.7 billion chances of quads and royal flush in same hand. Actually happened to me one time, had 4 jacks and lost. (fortunately we weren't playing for money).
He actually said 1 in 2.7 bil is the odds of quad Aces losing to royal flush (not quads in general, which will be about 13 times more likely). But that number is incorrect. 1 in 2.7 bil is actually the odds of getting any specific poker hand in a specific flop-turn-river order with unspecified suits, because that's how many combinations of ordered hands there are. But combinations don't depend on order. Removing order, the odds of any specific hand (with unspecified suits) is 1 in 185 million. Since quad Aces + a royal flush is a specific hand, it's that likely.
Scotty thats right baby
2:39:10 The one for the Dunning-Kruger crowd: "You've got the nuts."
Order on playlist is very bad.
I figured Mike the Mouths weight loss was either Atkins or crack, maybe a little bit of both.
Btw there’s actually 4 ways to play jacks only 3 of them wrong
48:59 In case anybody didn't know that he won a main event.
Qui Nguyen did what Scotty Nguyen couldn't.
I can't believe how some pro's like Ivey, Hellmuth, Matusow and Hachem can be such crybabies. They are all millionaires and still they have to be salty against average Joe for who the Main Event is their event of the year and maybe it costed them 1/4 of their year salary.
39:07 WHAT ARE THE ODDS that this happens again? 4 Aces lost to a Royal Flush... incredible. Talk about a REAL bad beat.
39:40 The Worst Bad Beat In Poker History 🤮
It’s a cooler.
@1:07:41 David Icke is playing poker.
It must be a blessing beeing an "american"
I like scotty but i think hes the type to take things personally even though they aren't. Like the crowd cheering for the girl who won the hand wasn't cheering that scotty lost but he took it that way.
Its always about himself
At 1:34:50 you can just see the disappointment in Joe's face from winning that hand, really bad beat for Mucha and great sport from Joe, he knew it was sick and didn't even cheer after that
ESPN was more cinematic in their production. POKER GO of course provides the modern viewer what they want, but that excitement ESPN was able to stir up is the missing element. All data, but no heart.
Can’t believe they came up with a Hevad Khan rule, don’t understand why people hate fun
2:39:10 poor Phil
I'm really glad that Norman Chad didn't soft pedal how awful Scotty Nguyen was at the final table of that horse Championship. Some of the Worst Behavior I've ever seen at a poker table
1.28:09 failed handshake
1:10:50 Chad with his blocking glove on his right hand, holding his stick without a glove.
Geez, Negreanu, at least give him the right gear and show him how to use it.
"I had a tasty pair there..." Way too much information, mate.
Report to the rail!
the event gets smaller and smaller as jen tilly and her chest gets knocked out
timestamp: 1:44:55 ur welcome

Awkward missed hanshake 1:28:06
Everytime I see that clip of Hellmuth winning the title for the first time, I think to myself, how tf was that ever handsome? But he was!
Probably not getting many likes on this one lol.
@@imnotoopinionated hey man I don’t make comments for likes or to be different or to try to be cool. I just say what’s on my mind. Sometimes I like to induce laughs which is no crime. But nah I’m not fishing for likes or to be praised. That’s for losers who need it
@@christianolson8543I actually agree. He was handsome.
He was handsome, I'll admit. He had the pretty boy kinda look.
archie karras won 40 million then lost it all wow
Can’t t lol others your hand !!!….unless you’re Jamie Gold !!! Some reason WSOP just let him do it for the whole tourney !!!! NOBODY SAID ANYTHING !!!!!
Jason Alexander has all that money and not the least bit funny
Scotty Nguyen = angry drunk
I REALLY appreciate and enjoy these videos, but these should be condensed into one hour max. Nearly 3 hours covering one day of the main event is simply too long and unnecessary in my opinion.
Tell me the difference between you watching 3 one hour videos or one 3 hour video? Legit never understand this complaint, you can pause the video my guy
Trashum is insufferable
My grandslam was saposta be wif sausage
Scotty Nguyen would be cancelled for acting the way he did now
?😊
Scotty need to be banned for life
1:17:49 what a misguided commentator.
Both of those faux terms have been used to oppress people for centuries. Humanism continues to be understated due to vested interests. Sad.
Faux term, but you employ the same logic in declaring its use as bad. Is only your perspective truth? Thats the root issue w any term, the assumption that their subjective opinion of it is ultimate, and the world should hold the same view.
@@0ptimal specifically the term 'evil' which has no bearing in any context, other than the one I presented.
It has a dehumanizing effect which is the real issue. My statement is not dehumanizing.
Love watching these donkeys play.
If you played poker in 2008, then you played the same or worse. Not like you had a time machine to go 15 years in the future and learn everything we know now in 2023 to have an advantage. So it's easy to say in hindsight.
