I'm proud of how Mon spoke up in the conference room so as to stand up for the senior employees who wouldn't dare to speak up for themselves. Her mom wanted her to be strong and patient. I guess Mon was trying to follow her advice unconsciously.👏🙂
Parenting makes the future of a child. The amount of love or stress you give to your child will come as a result of them sooner or later.
Mon who got love from their parents being a bright, friendly person & Sam who didn't get the love like Mon becoming a cold, unfriendly person proves it so well.
I can’t imagine how tough it must be for Sam to work on all of this, and I honestly see how well her little backstory explains why her personality and work ethic is this way, I’m so excited to see how things will turn out actually!

Freen is really perfect to portray khun sam amazing
This being the longest segment of the episode feels earned in a way that the lead characters’ characterization through their home life, in one dinner scene alone, allows so much insight on how and why they act the way they do.
Mon’s parents are understanding and kind and it even extends to Sam whom they also have not known or seen in a long time. Mon’s mother’s wish for Mon “to become strong and patient” feels like it’s going to be her journey moving forward, and she manages to immediately push through that journey by standing up for her co-workers on her second (!) day at the job. And yet how ultimately her strength is also rooted in kindness, seeing as how Noi’s stomachache motivates her to speak up. Mon is kind but it doesn’t completely make her a pushover, Auntie Mhee even remarks that Mon is cheeky after having earned herself a future favor from the proclaimed ‘eyes of the company’. She sets her boundaries well when Nop jokes around in trying to woo her. Her kindness shows in different ways, but it shines in almost everything she does.
Whereas Sam is the opposite. When Mon was met with kindness and understanding, and listened to when she spoke her mind, Sam is the opposite. She carries responsibilities and burdens she doesn’t even want to participate in. She isn’t heard, and her struggles become and remain hers alone. Even Kirk doesn’t seem to take the issue at hand as seriously as she does. Sam goes back to an empty house to punctuate her loneliness. In the crushing weight of a looming deadline, she becomes desperate and cruel to everyone around her. A spark of intrigue makes her gravitate towards Mon, who feels undeserving of the sudden displacement of a huge company project.
It’s such a good contrast between the two, and such a good starting point for their budding character development (and romance lol, but that’s a given).
Very well written and analysed. Would like to see more from you.
@@blankii3 I’ve been writing little commentaries in certain parts of each episode here and there. Not as extensive as this though, seeing as the characters are still on this very journey moving forward, the budding romance on the recent episodes do move the plot a bit more quickly compared to when they were individually fleshing out Mon and Sam, which just goes to show how integral they are to each others’ essences. I still stand by and believe in Mon’s quiet strength, and how that’s really what drawing Sam to her.

I like that they showed us why Sam is the way she is. How she is strained from fulfilling her duties to her family whislt pursuing her dreams is really nice. This talks about how elders put pressure on their kids and grandkids to reach perfection.

I just watched this series, I rarely open TH-cam, so I don't know if this series has aired, but it's okay I can watch it again 😻
It is weird that when I first watched this series, I thought Freen’s acting is not good. But after ep 5 and back to watch everything from the start, now I understand how personality Khun Sam is and her back story, I feel Freen’s acting is not regconized enough. Some expressions she has conveyed very subtly and beautiful. She makes me realized how I slowly fall in love with this character.
I also though Freen wasn't a good actress in the beggining bc of the lack of emotions but now I understand.... lol
