They look so young and inexpirienced, Sam even fainted from being too excited about the prospect of sex with Mon. It's cute, but they're super lucky with their friends helping them out. Sam definitly pushed though because Mon really wasn't going to start things. I feel bad for their anxiety; they clearly want to do it but don't know how to go about it. I'm assuming it's because of being virgins and it being a homosexual act. I think Mon was unconfortable with the idea of homosexual sex because she couldn't imagine how you would go about doing it.

I like the vulnerability of their characters. They're realistically written. The awkwardness and the innocence when they're trying to do it for the first time. It's believable. Shout out to the writers. They're very talented.
They had actual lesbian working with them. Initially, the pilot trailer get a lot of backlash due to how it fit into male gaze and how sexualize they are. Sam's character is more of a hot tempered than cold and emotionless in the actual series. Moreover, in the pilot trailer, they seem very experienced especially Sam during the first kiss which makes the actual series much more better because they are very awkward when it comes to their first kiss

The character in the pilot trailer is more of a caricature compare to the actual where Mon and Sam is very awkward and Innocence

At 6:25 the director said that he didnt tell freen to use tongue during the scene but for them to go with the flow so the reactions was pure from becky at the tongue..the flared nostrils,the eyebrow furrow and her mouth dropping open a bit was genuine...thats killing me..i could see beck mumble something after the tongue kiss but i cant tell what it was....im dying ☺
